Doesn't receive VHF as advertised
This antenna is supposed to be a premium, amplified antenna but actually works worse than simple bunny ears.
I set it up a few weeks ago and received about seven channels (downtown Toronto). I soon realized that all channels broadcast in VHF - such as CFTO/CTV - it didn't pick up. Finally I went back to Canadian Tire and bought the simple, non-boosted antenna by GE for half the price.
Guess what: it received all the channels the "Quantum" received and more! CTV now comes in perfectly.
Bottom line: Stay away from this antenna. You're paying double the price for something that works worse than bunny ears.

Too far from Toronto
If you live in Barrie, Ontario, I don't recommend this antenna. It will only pick up 1 DTV Air channel; which is CTV 2. I tried at the highest point of the house and still received only CTV 2. You will need a 68 mile + outdoor antenna and amplifier to try and pick up HD Channels from Toronto/CN Tower.

Great for Calgary area
Crystal clear picture, HD, wide screen for CTV, Global, CityTV, and CBC. Who needs cable? :-)

Excellent Value for the Price
I bought a lower brand Antenna and had to return it because we received NO channels. I bought this brand/item to try with our HD TV and was not disappointed. The clarity of the picture is great!! We average about 10-17 channels depending on where we have it set up and the angle. We live in a house with no other source for the signal to tap into. I HIGHLY recommend this antenna, make sure you set your HD TV to Antenna when you try it.

Not Great
For my specific situation, this antenna did not work well at all.
I have an older CRT television without a digital tuner, and i do not have a converter box. I bought this because not only would it capture digital signals, but UHF and VHF too (which are analog, and is the only format my TV can decode).
I probably got about 12 channels, but none were clear. Now, i will admit that i did not have the antenna sitting in a window, which is usually recommended. It was, however, near 3 large windows which are on an exterior wall. I did move the unit closer to a window to test, and the quality improved slightly.
I am sure this antenna would have worked better with a digital TV, and a better location near a big window.
