degraded quality
purchased both top and bottom 36" after getting home noticed chest had slight metal crinkle no chipping though. proceded to open bottom roller cabinet and noticed broken weld on bottom support braket for casters and crinkle on lower corners, i called ctc north bay on, and they replaced cabinet with new one(another trip)finally setting up both and after some time of purchasing and filling boxes with only mastercraft tools(now with weight in it) the top chest bottom drawer is now hitting face of chest would NOT BUY MASTERCRAFT TOOL BOXES again never should have sold my 20year old mastercraft boxes very disappointed

Missing drawer liners
I like this chest, it is nice and wide and it looks great! It only has a liner in the top and the very bottom drawer. I was quite disappointed. I really was expecting one in each. Also, the steel is pretty light, when you open and close the top, you realize that this model is not meant for pros. The 2 top drawers are only good for screw drivers and wrenches.
The Chest looks great and I am sure it will last for a long time.

Mastercraft 6-drawer chest
This chest would be better if it had 2 inch high drawers at the top three instead of inch and a quarter drawers.. You cannot leave the top down and open the drawers. A separate lock device would be better where you could lock the drawers from inside and then put the top down and lock it with a key. Construction is light, needs redesign for professional use.

Great Tool Box
Just purchased this item on sale at my CT and have to say it looks and performs great in my garage. Fit and finish are top notch and the materials are more than sturdy enough for the average homeowner. Drawers have plenty of room and the casters are quite sturdy. All in all I am very pleased with this purchase.
