Stay away
The sockets may work, but I can't tell as all 3 of the ratchets are broken. On the smallest one, the ball bearing (bb) fell out as soon as I picked it up, followed by the rod and spring. On the other 2, the bb won't compress, so I can't attach the socket!

Excellent value for your money!
Purchased this set on sale 2 1/2 months ago. Have used it many times - find it to be an excellent socket set for the home handiman. Yes the sockets fit tightly in the case, but I picked another up in the store whose sockets didn't snap in the case and lifted the wrong side of the case to close it - took me and a clerk over 5 mins. to return the sockets from off the floor to their proper slots in the case. This is the kind of case you want - trust me! The tools seem to be high quality, they are well labelled, the size selection is all the average handiman needs and the sale price of $89.99 makes it excellent value for your money!

Very Good Set
Purchased this set a few months ago when it was on sale for $89.99.Used only a few times so far but from what I can tell it is of good quality.A friend of mine who is a mechanic said I made a good purchase also.

First socket set.
This is my first ratchet set and I can tell you that is has saved me a few headaches while trying to find the right tool for the job.
PROS: Nice look, the sockets pop off nicely by a button on the back of the ratchet, very complete set.
CONS: Tarnishes very easily. There is no extension bar for the smaller ratchet.
PRO/CON: The sockets and ratchets are very difficult to take out, but at the same time it is good because you know they will stay put in any situation and you won't have to rearrange everything.

Best Purchase Ever
Just got this 2 days ago and i bought it on sale for 89.99 with 70% off, i mean who can pass up on that. Anyways i didn't have a socket set so i was waiting for a sale like this and man just the quality of this product is great, this tool feels solid the 3 ratchet and the sockets. i haven't used it extensively yet but i like my tools clean and lasts for a long time. But i can tell a good lookin product from quality to made in china. So i definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great tool set, if its on sale cause regular price is $299 ouch.

great tools
this is the perfect tool set ever made with all the required sockets and the ratchets and stanley is the perfect tool set to spend the money on since it will last you a life time, especially the black chrome makes it differ from all the other tool set.

socket set
Top notch tools. Ratchets are smooth and wrenches are gear drive on the box end. Case is well made.
Just don't drop sockets in the dark!!

These tools look nice , BUT !!?
They rust VERY easily--- which means all the balls on the ratchets will sieze ; ending up with your sockets falling off --VERY AGGRIVATING . These are definately not " professional" quality tools; but well painted --lol. The customer service number on the packaging is also a waste of time. I've NEVER had good luck with Stanely Tools and this just confirms the " Dollar Store " image these tools are.

This is a great Socket Set (not a full tool set)
I have been shopping for a good socket set for some time now, but I already had a full wrench set, screwdriver set, and all the other tools that they cram into the socket sets at Canadian Tire. So after some time of sorting through every socket set they had a picked out this one, Comes with every Imperial socket 1 inch and under, all the metric sockets 27mm and under (except 23, 25, and 26) lots a deep sockets (17 metric, 17 Imperial) basically if you want to buy sockets this is the socket set to buy (At Canadian Tire). Of the 149 pieces only the 6 gear wrenches and 10 bits are not sockets or socket related. Its $300 regular so I didn’t buy it when I picked it out, but when I was in recently I saw it for 99 bucks and didn’t think twice about buying it, great deal. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid socket set, if you want a whole tool set; it’s not the set for you.
