Needed this vacuum!
I purchased this vacuum after every other vacuum failed for picking up renovation rubble and dust. I found it on sale and don't regret spending the $119.99 sale price. I recommend the bag insert. It works great, however I still can't figure out the hose holder S bracket. Instructions leave something to be desired, they are poor, to say the least.

This thing SUCKS!! in a good way!!
This unit was purchased to replace a 10yr old heavily used Shop-Vac QSP30 that finally gave up the ghost. Upon initial assembly this unit is the same build quality as my other old Shop-Vac which is very nice. The 2 1/2 will take some getting used to. The performance leaves my old unit in the weeds! It is just as quiet as my old QSP and sucks twice as much, in a good way!! With a 5 year warranty to boot, you can't go wrong with this unit. Just hope they redesigned the switch as I had to replace my old one 3 times (these were covered at no charge by local repair depot) . Shop-Vac builds a quality product and I at least feel that if you buy off brand product you never know what your going to get.

Wicked vacuum for commercial use
I help my uncle in is Shop once in a while and he uses this Vacuum.
It's easy to use and very mobile.
Perfect for a shop.

excellent shop vac to have
this is quite a handy shop vac to have around. Used it to clean up water in my basement with no problem and use it to clean up after doing some work to my home. Never had any problems with it.

Unreal Suction

Heavy Duty Sucker
Bought this machine on sale. Debated because of the large size, but am so glad I went with this model. Great large tank, less emptying required. Long hose. Smooth swivel wheels. And lots of useful attachments. Quiet and quite the sucker!! This is my first Shop Vac purchase, would definitely give this one a look.

Shop Vac - Durability and Dependability
Our last Shop Vac lasted over 20 years and saw us through basement floods, workroom clean ups, car cleaning, duct cleaning and more. We`ve used it for everything. The tank size is great for big jobs, but it`s still a manageable weight to use for small ones. It is a durable and dependable vac and we`d happily recommend it for home or commercial use. The features we love the most are the drain plug and the quiet, but powerful motor. The filters are rather inexpensive when you need to replace them as well. Overall, a top notch product, made with the superior quality that earned Shop Vac it`s impeccable reputation.

It's a beast
Simply put, it's a beast. Huge tank, lots of attachments, long hose, and lots and lots of power.
Can't speak to durability since I've only used it around the shop, but the plastic is high grade, not the cheap thin stuck that cracks easy. Overall, great buy if you can get it on sale, 30%, otherwise I'd go with the slightly smaller model.
