Good shop vac
Owned this for 3 years now. Use it to clean up the sawdust in the garage. Great suction and easy to empty. Do not have anything bad to say about it. Good value for your money.

Just adequate performance for the price
This is the big brother to JobMate's 4 gal mini shop vac. Same motor, etc., just with a bigger base so you don't (in theory) have to clean it out as often.
For the price, this isn't a bad product. If you regularly clean the filter, it will do an okay job of sucking up sawdust, grit, dirt, etc. For some reason it simply won't pick up even a small nail or screw. Woodchips get sucked up easily enough, but always clog the hose. The hose is too short, I find, and the wands pull apart too easy.
The casters are cheap and prone to break if you decide to fill the canister half way to the top. The vacuum is also prone to tipping, and when it does the motor stops sucking for some reason until you turn it off.
The vacuum doesn't come with a lot of attachments, which is to be expected of JobMate and this price range. You can pick up attachments separately, but you will end up paying what you did for this vacuum.
Let's say you could use this vacuum for cleaning up the car, vacuuming up sawdust, and sucking up a small spill. If you want to anything more demanding with it, then skip the JobMate line of vacuums and move up to a ShopVac or another brand.
