Great Buy
I bought this generator at 40% off.Assembled it as directed,put fuel in the tank and let it sit for a minute so the carb could fill up.Gave it choke and 1 pull it was running nice and smooth.I tested it with an old 1/2 inch drill that probably uses as much power as a new fridge and the gernerator hardly gave a grunt.For $300 bucks I couldn't go wrong.So now I can power up my fifth wheel earlier in the season and have a longer camping season.

Super Deal at Canadian Tire
Bought this unit on sale for $ 299. After following the well written installation instruction, added the oil and gasoline required. Turned on the contact switch, set the choke and opened the gas valve, pulled the motor cord and it started but stalled after only a few seconds. On the second attempt it run immediately, set the choke to run and voila it kept running smooth at a very reasonable noise level. Great product with lots of power for most electrical domestic requirements!

4000hrs +STILL RUNNING 3 1/2YEARS
FANTASTIC PRODUCT
- HAVE CHANGED THE BRUSHES ONCE FOR $13.24 (received in the mail in 4 days)THIS WAS MY FAULT USING A VERY LARGE AC WELDER FOR A PROLONG PERIOD OF TIME.
- REALLY LIKE THE LOW OIL CUT OFF SWITCH GOOD FEATURE.
- I HAVE OTHER GENERATORS THIS ONE IS THE BEST BY FAR
- I HAVE NEVER ENDORSED A PRODUCT BEFORE BELIEVE ME WHEN I TELL YOU THIS IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS PRODUCT!

Champion 4000 Generator
Purchased this generator one year ago for my RVing and it has been reliable and easy to start.Bought it on sale half price so was a good deal . I would certainly recommend it for camping as it is very quiet.

Won't start everytime
Bought this 2 years ago, used only 4 times. First time almost wreck my shoulder from trying to start. Now won't start all.

Great, but could use about 500 more watts
I bought this on sale in the winter, as a primary power source for my off grid property to provide power to tools. It works great for everything except my Hitachi 10" mitre saw. It'll power the saw, but both the saw and generator sound like they're really straining. In hindsight, I wish I'd bought the next step up to provide better power to my mitre saw.
On the other hand, this thing is light enough that I can move it by myself, and not too bad on gas. Noise isn't too bad, though you'll want ear protection.

Best generater ever
Bought this generater for winter camping on Fer. the 10th. 2012 on sale for 299.95. I had my doubts at first. took it out of the box at camp,assembeld etc.1st day ran from2pm untill 4pm on 3rd day. 1st day 50mm of rain and wind , 2nd day , minus08 and 12in. of snow and wind , it never skipped a beat outside in all that weather , with no cover over it, it ran 50hours on apx 9 gal. of gas. It ran everything in camp including furnace. The 4000/3000 wt generater is truly a CHAMPION !!!!!!.

Great Purchase.
I bought this generator for my cabin and also for home if the power grid goes down. Bought this generator on sale and I haven't looked back, it does everything i want it to do. When I opened the box I put in some gas and filled it up with oil and it went on the second pull. Currently running a television, satellite and lights at the cabin with a lot of power to spare. I would recommend anyone to buy this product.

reliable workhorse for 3 weeks solid
Worked this generator for 3 solid weeks to run an RV in extreme wind and rain on a family vacation. Never failed to start and kept consistent power supplied to run a fully functional RV for a family of 3. It was also surprisingly quiet.
I have no doubt that next year it will start first pull.
Thrilled that i got it on sale for 400.00. A great buy.
I may stay off the grid.
