Great little box, Not just for Matches.
This is a great little box, I use it for keeping small parts clean and dry. The plastic is strong and durable. I have purchased several, and It's a great product.

DOES THE TRICK
Picked up a couple of these and it's pretty good. i use mine to store strike anywhere matches and i have 4 petroleum jelly soaked cotton balls in a mini zip-lock type bag. tested the striker on the cotton balls and it took fire very easily. nice tight waterproof container. only thing slightly negative is the size of the flint, it wears out quickly i find due to it being so small. though i suppose you don't plan on starting that many fires with it. awesome product to stick in your EDC KIT, backpack or your car. plan on getting a couple more.

Must have for camping
Again Coghlan products do not fail. This is a must have product for all campers/hikers. The flint on the bottom of the match box is a great feature to have. This is in my emergency kit.

Nice for camping
Pretty good little match box, especially for the price. It is water proof and has a flint on the bottom. It is big enough to fit about 25 matches or so and a striker from the matchbox (Since it doesn't have one built in) and a cotton ball.

A must have for camping
I use this mostly for camping. This case holds a number of matches, surely enough for starting camp fires, and stoves for a short trip. I dropped mine in water to test it once. It floated and the matches stayed bone dry. At this price, it qualifies as a must have for the camper or anyone who is fond of the outdoors.

Very waterproof!
I used to just carry a disposable lighter in my survival kit because I've had several "waterproof" matchboxes that failed miserably. This is the first waterproof matchbox that actually lives up to the term. I've taken an extended several minute dip in a river with this matchbox in my pocket and it didn't let in a single drop of water. The embedded flint on the bottom of this matchbox also works very well and is quite durable. I now have 4 of these matchboxes - 2 for emergency kits, one for camping, and one for my vehicle.
