Good value on sale, pretty durable
I agree with the comments below that these MC Max screw bits aren't as durable as, say, the DeWalt bits we've been buying. (That's why they got a for star rating for durability.) So far the Robertson bits are going strong, but we've rounded off the small Phillips bit when we used them with CT's cordless impact driver. Product #54-1263-0
At regular price, they are expensive and you probably are better spending more on name brand competitors. But CT regularly has these bits on sale, and they represent good value at half price.0(When they're half off they are close in price to the JobMate line and well worth spending more.
We bought a house needing a lot of renovations, so everyone is always buying us bargain home repair tools. Someone of the ones we get are pretty lame (e.g., bulk pack of JobMate screw bits). This experience has made us more sensitive to giving out junk at Christmas, but I wouldn't hesitate to give these out as gift to relatives we like.

wouldn't pay the extra money again
Bought this set about 2 months ago, mainly to get a high quality set of Robertson bits as I find that the majority of construction screws use Robertson bits. Unfortunately, after only about 300 screws, I've managed to wear down the #2 Robertson bits to un-usability. Would probably save the money next time and just go with the cheaper bits as these don't seem to last much longer.

great for the price
just picked this product up today and used it a few times already and seems to be working real well. the colored rings around the bits really help to pick the right bit out when in a rush

Great deal
Purchased this set to replace my screwdrivers and i'm overally very happy. The case opens and snaps shut easily and securely. There are a few of each size phillips/robinson/flat head bits and so far none of them have rounded/broken (Cant say the same for my mastercraft screwdrivers) I dont honestly see the difference between the 2 rows of flat head bits except that the blade is at a different degree of angle with the bit holder and the phillips selection occasionally has me wishing for a slightly bigger/smaller size (There are 3? different sizes) but overally an excellent kit that I would buy again...if I could manage to break this one
