Mixed results when using these bits
I was looking for a set of countersink bits for a lot of small projects where I wanted to hide the screws. This set gets mixed reviews from us. The countersink and stop collar work fine, but we had problems with the bits that came with the set.
The bits work fine in softwood and MDF, but the #6 and #8 bits broke when we used them with harder woods (maple, black oak). Canadian Tire exchanged the set for us without a problem.
The next problem came we tried to adjust the depth on the bits. First, we had a hard time finding an allen key to loosen the screw. When we did find the right size Allen key, we noticed that the thinner bits warped as we tightened the screw. It was now off center and useless. We considered returning the set, but decidd to simply replace the #6 and #8 MasterCraft bits with DeWalt ones and have not had any more problems.

A good set to have
I have used this screw setter set countless times when working with MDF. I find them to be a real asset and would buy them again anytime. You can probably pay more for something similar but the quality of these is such that I could easily recommend them to anyone.

Good Countersink Bits
You need these types of bits when you are setting a screw close to the edge of the wood piece and you want to avoid "chipout" by countersinking it flush with the wood surface or below. Another situation is when you wish to cover the screw with a wood plug or dowel. This screw setter set will completely satisfy these tasks. You can adjust the depth of the drill bit using the appropriate hex wrench. The drill bits can also be replaced should they become worn or broken.

A great set
A great set of screw setter bits. Most of the sizes you'll need for all your jobs.
