Worked first time
I drilled a hole in the bolt with a regular bit first then used the extractor. Came out instatly. Awesome!

Works great most times
This is absolutely a great tool to remove larger sized bolts or screws that have the heads stripped out. Very tough and reliable. I just wish there was a smaller unit in the set for removing smaller screws.

Fantastic invention/tool
This is better than sliced bread or pockets in your shorts!
I have used almost every type of "easy out" there is. This is the simplest solution for me and works 90+ % of the time. Working on old cars and trucks from the 60's and 70's you tend to get rusted frozen screws, and lots. Well this out of say, well over 100 uses has worked almost every time.
I have worn out a couple of tips and resharpened the LH drill end to make them continue and they do. That is like time you can't get back...fighting and frustrated at a fastener that wont budge, I reach for my Grabbit! and I do!

Works fantastic!
This product works fantastic! I think the issue with those not having luck is impatience and not reading the instructions. These extractors are simple to use and have saved me hundreds of dollars because I haven't had to throw out things that were otherwise useless with bolts stuck in them.

won't remove broken bolts
This tool is useless in removing a broken bolt and imossible to center while drilling. The extraction end of the tool would not grab and just stripped the hole. I would have been better off using a regular drill bit drilling a progressivly larger hole until the bolt was gone.

Not working for me.
Tried to remove a top stripped philip screw. the grabit bits just strip it even more. Ended up I go back to my trusty Dremal cutting a slot on the screw top and use a flat screw driver to undo the screw.

Screw extractor
I purchased these when they were on sale and was a bit reluctant to get the set because of the price tag when compared to other products of the same caliber. HOWEVER I was pleasantly surprised how well they work, with very little effort , even on a small screw/ broken bolt. On one side of the bit is a kind of crevicing tool that creates a depression in the worn grooves of the screw ( or completely broken-off screw head) and the other side is extractor head. Just apply a bit of pressure while using it and.... voila out comes the screw/ broken bolt.
Definitely recommend the 4pc kit so that you have a wider range of screw sizes that can be removed.

Great Tool
I have only used these bits a few times, but they have never failed. This is definitely something you want to keep around the house in case you accidentally stripped or broken bolt.

Terrific time saver
Bought this kit on sale, saved a lot of grief when trying to remove stripped out Phillips head screws.
Great having the 4 most common sizes in one little case!
