Great for the money but the box is cheap
Picked up a box when it was on sale. I have a Dremel and wanted some extra accessories to have on hand. So far I'm quite pleased but I really wish it came in the tool box that is shown in the ad instead of the cheap wooden box that mine came in. Would definitely pick up another set when/if they go on sale again.

Awsome Deal !
Just picked up on sale the Mastercraft Rotary Bits Set 500-pc for less then $30. I use a Dremel for my tool / gadget making hobby; grinding, shaping, cutting and polishing mostly tiny metal pieces and some wood working- so I go through bits frequently. There's enough pieces in this set to keep me going for along time and not have to worry about being frugal when using them on all my projects.
I was missing a few things from my original set, like some collets, mandrels, wrench, oil stone, polishing rouge... if I was to purchase individually it would cost me more then buying an entire new tool. So for less then $30 tax in I replaced all the original pieces I had lost, gained a plentiful supply of sanding disks / drums, cutoff disks, wheels ect... The two router bits included was added bonus- alone those are worth what I paid for the entire set. Quality is more or less the same as name brand, if any doubt the generous supply of each item certainly makes up for it. Excellent buy if you appreciate the utility of a rotary tool for hobby / craft use!

Great Value and everything you need
Ended up purchasing a set for the home and one for the cottage. Everything you need in a cool wooden case. Other thing I like is how the accessories are displayed making it quick and easy to find that exact bit you need.
If you buy this on sale this is a great deal and it will be years before having to purchase any additional accessories.

Good Selection - OK Value
You get what you pay for. There is a great selection and assortment of bits in this set but they are a little on the cheap side. Not a major factor because you get for many but I was a little disappointed in the quality.

on sale, it's a steal
Good luck finding one though when it's on sale, if you live in a heavily populated city. Go to the outskirts if you can, or get a raincheck when it's on sale. It works great with my Dremel and the best part is, there are pieces there I normally wouldn't try but for 20 bucks, you get the chance to use them all.
Too bad the box isn't the same as pictured, but that's no biggie.

incredible deal
The case is not like the one in the picture.
The accessories are a must for any hobbyist, you can't go wrong with this kit, you everything you need for every possible application, pick a couple when on sale.

Excellent value when on sale
When these are on sale, pick one (or two) up. Even doing only hobby work I go through the bands and cut-off discs quite quickly, so this is a nice way to get more while stocking up on the other bit types as well.

Awesome value, bad box
When this goes on sale for $20-25, buy it. The quality of the pieces is just as high as dremel and the router bits alone cost more than $20 if you buy dremel brand. Has lots of polishing stones, cut off wheels, and sanding drums. Incredible value. Buy 2 if you can find them. Get a raincheck if you cant find one. Box is sub par but the bits themselves are excellent

Great deal, only when on sale
-The box itself has several flaws
- The 3 rotating bit holders get stuck often, and can't rorate
- The drawer dividers fall out way too easily
Other than that... a great buy, at $23.99! Good luck trying to get one at that price, they go quickly. You might have to go through a few of them in store to make sure you don't get one with a damaged box though.
