Very Good Purchase

"The poll saw works great and the battery lasts a long time. I purchased this for my dad for xmas and he loves it. The only negative to this product is the price, because you have to buy the battery and the charger seperately. Also it has an extension of only 8 ft."

where to get a new chain for this saw

You can get a replacement chain for this chainsaw at any Canadian Tire store, product #054-5619.

What is the price of battery and charger?
Is there option of purchase extra pole section/extender?

Answer:

The battery is product number 060-2181 and retails for $119.99 in store. The charger is product number 060-2182 and retails for $29.99 in store.

There is no pole extender for this item as additional length will compromise the overall strength and balance of the product of which it was certified for.

Telescoping pole?

Question:

This supposedly has a telescoping pole, and the manual describes how to adjust it, but it doesn't work. Based on the construction, I can't see how it could possibly telescope.

Am I missing something, or does this not have a telescoping pole?
