Really, really nice saw
Bought this saw about 3 months ago to use in my home reno business and so far I love it. Compared to my 10" Bosch saw this one is super light. It cuts smooth and square right out of the box.
I was thinking of buying an 8" saw because of the smaller size and weight just for cutting 2x4's, but this DeWalt saw is both small and light enough to pull out of my van with one hand.
Yes, it even has a handle on top! I'm really glad I went with this one.

Dewalt vs. Makita: I wish I had gone with DeWalt
I originally bought this saw for my shop, but returned it because the blade cover was broken. I ended up buying a Makita mitre saw, which was lighter and a little cheaper. I don't regret the decision ... much. The Makita is a fine saw, but this saw has better performance, is more solidly built, and does a better job on hardwoods.

Can't go wrong with a DeWalt!
I just returned my 12" Mastercraft Mitre Saw. HUGE flaw in that one, it's a one-off blade (12" blade with a 5/8" arbor - so no aftermarket blade exists - or even replacement blades).
I ended up returning that for this 10" DeWalt, which surprisingly has the same (if not more) cutting width as that 12". This saw is very powerful, precise and I can certainly see the difference in quality. You definitely get what you pay for. DeWalt will see more of itself in my garage from now on.

Great bang for your buck.
I replaced my old Delta with this saw what a difference, very nice saw, powerful and solid and best of all portable. Makes a great worksite saw, overall I've been very happy with this puchase.

Reall good!
I bought this saw after my Craftsman's frame broke and I always wanted a Dewalt and it did not dissapoint! It's sturdy and very solid and the quality of the blade is really good. You can tell when you cut that the motor runs smooth and well...this saw will last long and can take some punishment. Great for trim as well as framing my basement walls.
Would recomment this saw to anyone.

Fun for Girls and Boys
Great tool for any project big or small. I just finished building a fence with it and it's small enough to port it around. Now it's set up in the basement ready for quick cuts when ever I need them. As a light weight female this is especially quick and safe.

Great saw. Lots of power
This is a great saw. Don't be easily drawn into getting the 12" version. The 10" blades a much MUCH cheaper to buy. The 10" lets you cut a 2x6 without flipping the piece. You can get just over 8" with the 12" saw. Dewalt makes great tools ... I would buy over a master craft saw any day.

Great for Home improvements
I have used this saw for everything from picture frames, to baseboards, and it is a great tool. I am very happy with every DeWALT product that I have purchased.
