BAD BAD BAD
the product is good but who ever wrote the instructions must of run out of ink the instructions are hard to read there is not enough information to set it up properly you have to phone honeywell to find more information on how to set it up . lots of luck

Easy to install and use
I bought this to replace the analog thermostat that controlled our gas fireplace. It was easy to install, had clear instructions, and is a snap to use. It does a great job of keeping the room a steady temperature instead of going up and down in big swings like we used to experience.

Great Purchase
This product worked perfectly.
The only hitch I had was when I removed my old analog thermostat and found only two wires (a black and a white). I have a heater only. A quick search on the internet revealed that the black wire shouild connect to RH and white wireto W.
Worked like a charm.

Simple Functional Unit
This is a simple well thought out unit pre-programmed with logical settings and a intuitive temp over-ride.
The backlit display will either be useless or mandatory depending on the positioning of your unit. as cheap LCDs have a very narrow view angle. For me it was mandatory.

We bought this thermostat on the advice of our heating/air conditioning installer. He told us that this would be a long lasting,trouble free unit. On his advice we actually took a previously purchased other brand back and exchanged. We are pleased that we made the switch. Thank you Canadian Tire for a smooth transaction.

A Great Environmental Choice
The more you can program your heating system, the better. This Honeywell brand thermostat works well at giving you lots of options so that your heating/cooling system is not being overused if you are away at work or sleeping. You can still wake up or come home to a warm/cool house, but not be heating or cooling it when no one is around anyway.

Easy to install
This thermostat was the first one we ever installed, and it was very easy to do. It's great to have the option of setting different start and stop times for tempoeratures throughout the week, holiday settings, and is easy to override the scheduled temp if you have a change of routine.
