  • Southwire NMWU 14/2 is used for underground installations, including direct burial, at conductor temperatures not exceeding 60°C and for wet and corrosive locations such as wet basements

  • Maximum voltage rating for all intended applications is 300 volts

  • Minimum recommended installation temperature is minus 40°C for two-conductor cables (sizes AWG 14 through AWG 6) and minus 25°C for all other sizes

  • Sunlight-, moisture-, and fungus-resistant PVC jacket surrounds overall construction

  • For three-conductor cables, the minimum recommended installation temperature is minus 10°C

  • Material should be properly stored above 0°C for 24 hours prior to installation

  • Made using annealed (soft) copper conductors, compressed stranding for the stranded conductors, a PVC insulation and a nylon jacket for the phase conductors
