Analogue Meter
I bought this meter about two months ago to test the batteries lying around in the house, the salesman on the floor at the time said it would work fine for my basic needs of testing AA/AAA/C & D batteries. It worked fine for about two months and then it just basically died. Now it won't read anything whether the battery is brand new or recharged. The needle barely even moves when I tried to test two new AA batteries I bought yesterday to put in my tv remote. Save your money and buy the more expensive model. Thats $17.00 I won't see again.

Perfect to have around the house
Over the years I've had a few of these testers. For basic load testing, continuity and battery testing It works great.
I've never paid full price for one and doubt that I would. It seems every few months this item is put on sale for about 75% off. So for 5 or 6 bucks it's well worth it to have kicking around the house.

ohm function broken
Bought this to test the curcuit on my headlight. got home took the headlight apart and then found out the the darn thing wont zero to test the resistance of the ground. Now i got to put my headlight back together to take the thing back to the store. DO NOT BUY.

Poor Quality
The Ohm adjust won't zero the meter. The test leads fall out of the plug jacks at the slightest movement.
It's going back to the store.

Excellent
My sister has looked everywhere for a battery tester that seems to be no longer available. I told her about the one we had and I have just located it on Canadian Tire website. This is an excellent battery tester and we use it all the time. Highly recommend this battery tester to anyone. As far as the rest of the electrical gadget goes, I cannot comment as we have never used it for anything other than a battery tester.

Stay away!!! Not accurate and poor quality.
This unit is totally useless. I'm an electronics tech and I can tell you that this will do nothing for you. The resistive load factor is so poor, that it will load down what your testing and give false readings. There is no advantage to analog multimeters. Get your self a digital one. The resistive load factor is 10 megohms ( will never load your circuit down!). All you will see is the needle jump around. SO WHAT??? This is useless, believe me!!!!

Average tester
I don't like these testers, there not accurate enough for me. The needle tends to stick on me sometimes, giving me a false reading.

A Solid performer!
This little device is a solid performer at a reasonable price. Works well on many applications at home and on the bench !

"Mini" is right
I use this mainly as a battery tester which works very well for anything up to 9 volts. Of course it has other uses depending on your knowledge of electricity. If your knowledge level is very basic then this is about as far as you should venture.
