Powerfull
This was my first drill and it has been great for all of my projects. My only complaint would be that when I used it to mix my driveway sealer I found it difficult to maintain a slow speed.

Not for professional use
Purchased one of these to replace my hammer drill and I am not please at all. As a professional contractor I look for performace and quality over price. Bought it on sale for $99.99 I thought I was getting a good deal, within a year it was not working proper. I don't know if I got a defective unit or not, all I can say is in the condiion it is in it acts more like a regular drill rather then a hammer drill. Had to replace this with a Hitachi one.

Great drill
Nice drill to have as a backup to My Rigid cordless impact drill. The hammer feature eats concrete like butter. No problems so far.

Great First Hammer Drill
This is actually the first drill I ever owned, and it is a beauty. It has the versatility to be both a drill and a hammer drill which is super convenient for a wide variety of jobs. Drilling into concrete hasn't seemed to phase this drill whatsoever. I am so happy that I went with DeWALT, it is going to last.

Best purchase in years
Have had a variety of different types of 18 volt drills but never a hammer drill. This Dewalt is efficient, is a workhorse and has taken care of all my drilling needs. Bonus was when CT put it on sale at our local store.

solid performer.
Lightweight, smooth operation, reliable and able to perform heavier duty tasks. Dewalt is Dewalt...What can I say.
Would suggest similar drill by Dewalt with larger amp rated motor though. The extra cost would be worth it.

Great value
I was looking to replace a Makita 3/8" corded hammer drill and found this one on sale. The 1/2" chuck is great for those larger concrete boring bits when hammering. Really decent power and good balance. Only thing I'm not keen on is the forward/reverse switch. It is a little too easy to hit in normal use.
