When this drill is on sale BUY IT. Full disclosure, I work for CT, but am also a shopper and consumer. I bought this drill after rave reviews from a customer and am extremely pleased. Its a little louder than the Hitachi's but otherwise this drill is probably the best we sell for the price ($179 when on sale). Great for the DIYer like myself and professionals. Reviews on the web back my opinion up. When CT has name brands (Dewalt, Hitachi, Bosch) on sale they cannot be beat. September 2, 2012
