Warranty Deceiving

"I purchased this drill in April 2010 and the chuck went on it last month, Dec 2011. Took it back to Cdn Tire, they said that I had to take it to a Dewalt service center to be fixed...took it to the Dewalt store and they said that I needed the receipt, which I provided, it stated right on it...3yr warranty. anyway, Dewalt rep said that is only a 3yr manufacturer defect warranty, doesn't cover thing like, the chuck falling apart. Will not ever buy a dewalt product again...going to stay with mastercraft, at least they stand behind their products..."

Awesome Drill

"I purchased this drill when it was on sale to help replace my cordless drill.

The quality of this drill is fantastic. Powerful, sharp looking, great quality name behind it, and oh did I forget to mention, P O W E R F U L !

This drill is absolutely fantastic for the price. The keyless chuck, solid drill case, and two prong connection are great features.

I purchased this drill due to the other positive reviews, and for the fact that I knew that the DeWalt name was something that I could rely on for years of satisified usage."

good but not for $80

"i was trying to drill a 3/4" hole into a steel bar. i got in about half then the chuck was busted. i was using a mastercraft drill bit for this. perhaps that's one reason it got busted. it doesn't accept with MC bits!"

DeWALT 7A drill

"I was looking for a while to find a drill as my other corded drill wore out. I looked at Home Hardware and they had this same drill for a regular price of 99.99. My dad said I should wait for it to go on sale, and when it did it when for ten dollars less!!! I decided to keep looking around and found the drill at Medicine Hat Canadian tire and it had a regular price of 79.99, I went to Medicine Hat(1 hour from my location) and bought it and have been very pleased with the results."

"Quick change chuck is awsome, no more lost keys!!! I wish I had upgraded to the rubber grip model, and the trigger is a little hard to manipulate for slow speed. Otherwise, this is an awsome drill that works and works and asks for more."

"This is a must have drill for any toolbox. I have several drills and always reach for this one when I have a job to do. It is a no nonsense dependable drill. Has gobs of power and has never let me down. Unless I absolutely need a cordless, this is my drill of choice. Highly recommended."

If you search the Model No. (D21008K) listed in the description at the Dewalt website it states that it's 6A, the picture also shows a metal chuck. I've got what's pictured on the Dewalt website, purchased at a CT.

CT has an outdated picture, outdated specs, or an incorrect model number.
