Worst 3 in 1 nailer out there !!!!

"I was over at a friends house doing a project and he pulled out his Mastercraft 3 in 1 Nailer. It failed to shoot out nails and staples. We could not figure out what was wrong. We added more oil, made sure the area that nails etc... where coming out was lubricated and nothing. We held back the safety and fired just air through the gun and after re loaded staples back into the gun. The gun did start to fire out staples, but failed to fire 3 out of 4 times. The only thing that helped was to keep reopening cartrige and reclosing. It must be a issue with the way this cartridge is holding the nails, staples etc...
I ran home got my same Mastercraft 3 in 1 Nailer brand new out of the box and had the exact same issues.
This is not worth the money on sale or not.In fact I would hesitate to ever buy another Mastercraft product because of this incident.

On sale it's a bargain

"I got this on sale for some trim work, I've only fired around 50 nails so far but no jams and works great! Not to heavy and feels good in the hand when using.

I will never us a hammer again to nail, the satisfying noise this thing makes just screams man, get it!!!"

"Never even got a start on my project! First Brad nail jammed up....and it never got better!!!

Save your money( It's not even worth the sale price! ). Buy the 2 1/2 inch nailer, it jammed maybe 5 times out of a thousand nails!"

Great Nailer

"I have had this nailer for a year and it works great. I have not had a problem with the dents in the wood from the brad nails. I adjusted the depth and have had no problems with dents. To avoid the jamming, oil the hammer part in the tip. Wait for it to be on sale before buying."

Worst nailer EVER!!

"I purchased this nailer to put up crown moulding and baseboard, and it jammed four times for every nail it put in. It would have been faster for me to nail them by hand. I took it back after an hour and bought a bostick nailerwhich works great. NEVER BUY A MASTERCRAFT NAILER!! This is my third and they jam CONTINUOUSLY."

Only buy this one on sale !

"This 3 in 1 nailer suffers the same as any other type of multi-use tool, ie. tools like this are jack of all trades, master of none. It isn't a bad machine, but it leaves very large indents on finishing projects, so you need to hold the gun back a bit. I would buy this as I did on sale for $ 89.99....then it is worth it"

Useless if used for nailing

"I purchased this item specifically to use in face nailing the 'near the wall' sections while installing a hardwood floor.
The first unit contunued to misfire and then began firing two nails (2") at a time. With the 'double nailing' result, none of the nails were set or could be set, thus making a huge mess of my hardwood.
I exchanged the nailer for another of the same type and other than the misfiring, the results are identical.
Admittedly, I've only tried the nails which came with the unit. It seems possible that the heads may be too small on the provided nails(???).
However, as I couldn't use the unit, I purchased another brand which seems to work fine.
Hopefully CTC will accept the 3-in-1 nailer back for refund."

Where is the NPT inlet plug ??

WHERE is the NPT inlet plug ?? im assuming its where i hook the air hose into ??

This nailer can install 3 different kind of nails but please note it can not install 3 different kinds of nails to magazine at same time:
1) Finish nails : 16 Gauge
Length : 32mm(1 ¼’’) to 64mm (2 ½’’)
2. Brad nails : 18 Gauge
Length : 15mm(5/8’’) to 50mm(2’’)
3. Staples : 18 Gauge
Length : 15mm(5/8’’) to 40mm(1 5/8’’) "
