Back up power and many future uses. I bought this battery for future use as back up power and hoping to buy a boat in the future. I like the cranking power cause gives me more options of what boat to buy.. As well I will be using this battery to power the electrical system to my gas fireplace to run the blower and to run a light in the living room just in case the power may go. The blower and the light bulb gives out a total of 25 watts so this battery will give me well over 50 hrs of heat and light during the winter and knowing the the blower has a sensor it won't be running all the time so I might get more hours out of this battery. I also bought a ctek charger that will always top the battery through maintain mode for longer waiting times. I like that the battery is sealed and not worrying if it might leak or give off gases. I might even use this to go camping in the summer but I hope some day I can get myself a good boat. As for this battery it is powerful, safe, 100 amp hours, deep cycle agm battery and the only negative is it's so heavy 71lbs but that ok works well. I might even use this when I build an ice rink in the back yard lol who knows. Great battery. September 24, 2012
