Group 27 Starting and Deep Cycle Battery
Keeps my servers up when power goes out
I have two of these connected to an inverter charger and I get about 3-4 hours of run time for roughly 350w of equipment. It used to be a bit longer a year ago when I first set it up but hard to tell if it's the batteries or just the fact that I added more equipment (a network switch and wifi AP). I checked the water levels and it was a bit low but still plenty and plates were not exposed. Added more. I did run them down completely a couple times though, so it's good that they still work and can take it. Way cheaper to buy these than APC replacement batteries, and gives way more run time.

Didn't even last 4 years...
I use it on a Flotec battery backup sump pump and would recommend another kind of battery even though Flotec recommends a deep cycle battery. I paid 104.99 now it's 114.99. ITI

Excellent reliable battery
Use it with my Minn Kota 30lb troblling motor. Have used it on 6 camping trips in the last year to run an intex 5 12 feet inflatable boat. Works great and has never run out of juice after 6 hours of use at speeds of 3-5 (5 is top speed for Minn Kota motor).
Only issue is that after the first drain it only charges to 90% of capacity. Not sure if this is a battery problem or the charger problem. Use the Motomaster Nautilius battery charger (which works fine I think). That is the only reason it gets a 4. Still highly recommended.
IMPORTANT: Charge the battery once every two to three months during off season.
