Wait for the sale!
Ok, I read a number of critical reviews about this item and I can understand the frustration. The batteries can be a pain in the neck if not conditioned properly. When cycled correctly they will last more than a season.
I managed to get mine for a reduced price and the kids love it!
It is now four years old and the batteries are getting a little weak. I will remove them and try the local suppliers. This has been my approach for all my razor products. So far I have had little trouble finding replacements. 12 volt lead acids are simple to find because they are used in a number of applications not related to children's ride ons.
I use GNB (Great Northern Battery) here in Halifax for all my battery needs. So far no real issues after four years...

Don't buy this product
This scooter was fun and fast for a year of moderate use, then the batteries gave out. Replacements are near impossible to find, expensive and require a soldering iron to replace.
Bottom line, a great scooter if you want to buy a new one every year.

Not worth the money
Bought one of these E100's, batteries eventually wear out and won't hold a charge. Can only buy thrus US dealers. 2 Batteries @$35.00 each US money plus shipping plus duty makes it too costly. Why don't these retailers stock parts or have the Canadian subsiduary stock parts. Razor Canada only sells products can't or won't stock parts. Why would any one else want to buy a headache. Time to educate these retailers by not buying unless made in Canada.

Bad Investment
Hi, I bought my electric scooter not to long ago and it has turned out to be one of the worst investments that I have ever made. At first it is great then once water touches the chain and what not it starts to get rusty and then from there on out it has been an absoulte nightmirror. I highly recommend that you do not waste your money on this scooter.
