Cheap but not bad for beginners
This is not the best golf set by far but for a beginner that doesn't want to spend a lot of money to get into the game this a great choice. It was in clearance for 99 when I got it and I still have the set.
I recommend this set for someone who wants to start playing golf . You can upgrade to a better set once you get some lessons and rounds under you belt.

Easily breaks...
I bought this because it was on sale...
I only played 3 times at a field and 5 times at a driving range...
I have never ever broke a club before so I don't think it was my fault.
My preowned Wilson clubs are well other than the rust damage it already had when I picked it up at a garage sale.
I was practicing my 7th iron on grass torday and it just broke...
The head part broke off the shaft :'(
I am so sad...

XV golf clubs
I Purchased these golf clubs yesterday because i have recently picked up a set of clubs from a yard sale, and actually kind of liked golfing. mind you im only using the driving range to get used to hitting a ball, and i cant complain one bit! the clubs were on sale for 129.99 when i purchased them, and for 150 bucks, i would highly recommend them! the driver is sweet, the fairway is fun to use, and all the others are awesome! there light, made out of titanium and iv missed the ball a couple times and hit the mat pretty hard, and didn't break one! iv used "carbon fibre" clubs, and i broke the end off of 2 drivers. i LOVE these clubs for the price!
The only thing i wish it had better, was the protector that goes over top of all your clubs, i guess as a dust shield or something, but the cover that goes on the drivers, its a zipper cover with snap ons to cover it up, i wish it was a little better quality, the Dunlop clubs for 199.99 (same price as these ones) have a way nicer and better cover, but i still love the clubs more!

Beginners point of view
I have never golfed before and decided to buy these clubs based solely on price. After going to the range and playing a few rounds, I found these clubs to perform as well as a novice would want. The driver is a little bit too flexible for a beginner. My more experienced friends pointed out that this 9 piece was all a guy needed and kept the weight down. The bag is holding up well and has enough pouches for most accessories. The putter and the grips on all clubs are very good, they are small details but worth mentioning.

great product for the price
I bought this set recently and am quite pleased. Played only one round so far, but for $99, can't go wrong!
