Awesome compact tent
Just recently purchased but I can tell its a good tent. I've gone through and slept in many cheap tents and this looks a lot better then those. Didn't have to spend a ton on this tent yet its easy to setup, looks durable and I'm confident it will last with proper use. Folds up in an excellent compact carrying case.

Awesome tent!
I bought this tent a while ago, but I never went camping since. So, I camped in my home (so sad ha!!).
I loved how easy it was to install it, it took me around 12 minutes (because of the small space). It would take much less effort and time if I was really camping :D
The ventilation system it has was AMAZING!!

worth the money, will never buy a cheap tent again
I'm a frequent camper, 3-4 weekends a summer, and have gone through more 60-80 dollar tents than I can count. And some upwards of 160. Made the decision to spend some more money and get a quality tent with a great warranty so I tried this one. It is the best piece of camping equipment I've ever bought. Very well designed, keeps cooler than any other tent I've been in which is great cause I don't like to be up with the sun. And the desperate smaller room or vestibule is perfect for my Bernese mountain dog, he stays protected from the rain and hot sun and gets plenty of fresh cool air. I would say to anyone on the fence just buy it, you won't regret it. Cheers and happy camping. Oh and it doesn't hurt that its a great looking tent too, I have been complimented on it,.. well roots i guess.

great for the organized person
Anyone wanting to keep the tent neat and organized would love this tent. Love the different compartments, the mat at the front door, and the overhang at the front to shelter one from the rain. Loved it!

So far so GOOD
We got this tent back in 2010 and so far, it is the best one yet. We go camping/canoeing every year so a good tent must last and most important, keep rain out. The most important part of a tent for us is the flysheet that would cover the entire tent from top to bottom. Only this way would protect you from rain and heavy moister in the morning. Most fly sheet only covers top haft so moister would come in from all lower side wall with only one layer to keep you dry. Tent with flysheet that does cover the whole tent is usually very expensive. This one is still within reasonability price (on sale of course) and it even gave you a âfront porchâ to keep you shoes nice and dry. Putting it up was not hard, takes a few minutes, but it does need more then one person to do the job. It is also not too heavy so we can take it on our canoe trips. However, there is no way you can fit 4 people in this and even 3 is tight if you have backpacks.

A pretty good tent but...
The Barron tent had great ventilation because of all of the windows, and the vestibule allowed us to leave a door open for ventilation and still maintain privacy. The vestibule was handy when it rained but was kind of low to pass through into the tent, It felt a bit awkward.
The functional floor space was significantly reduced because of the slope of the tent sides.
Set up wasn't hard but it took longer that usual. The basic tent was easy but the vestibule was a bit fussy - a surprising number of stakes were required.
The tent worked well in the rain except for the floor. Water pooled on the groundsheet under the tent and seeped through because, in this campsite, we were not able to set up the tent perfectly. The ground sheet was poking out a centimetre or two and funnelled the water under the tent. We admit that the instructions indicated that the groundsheet should be fully under the tent. However we thought the groundsheet was in place properly but apparently it had shifted. This tent would be much improved it they had provided a proper "footprint" instead of a groundsheet since perfect site condtions can't be guaranteed. Buy if you buy it, make sure the ground sheet isn't poking out at all.

Amazing little tent!
I bought this tent 2 years ago now. My main use is camping with scout groups and the tent is used for leaders. This tent is surprisingly durable! The poles are twice the size of anything in its category, the walls are very durable, the floor is surprisingly durable for a nylon floor. The vestibule is amazing, I can't say enough about how much I love it. The screens are very well built to withstand wind and rain as the fly covers well below them so there's no chance of it blowing in. The tent also handles wind exceptionally well due to its low design and the fly going all the way to the ground. This is something not seen with many tents any more.
Normally I use the tent just for myself, BUT I have had it crammed with 8+ kids overnight when my son had a party in the back yard a few times last summer. This thing is durable! I have no complaints other than I wished the floor was a tarp floor, but if you pay attention setting it up, it's not a problem.
I've used dozens upon dozens of tents over the last few years, and owned probably a dozen myself. I will ALWAYS come back to this tent. It's not very big, but it's comfortable, and convenient. The shoe doors are great, the vestibule is great, and the overall quality is amazing.

Awesome tent!
After one too many watery camping trip, I decided to splurge and buy this tent. At first I was skeptical because of the lack of tarp as ground covering but was more than pleasantly surprised at how well it stood up to not one but two MAJOR rainstorms. Not a drop of water inside the tent, a little leaking in vestibule but that was entirely my fault and an adjustment to the tension on the guylines rectified the problem. Very easy to set up and take down. I highly recommend this tent and will purchase the larger version as my family gets bigger.
