Broadstone Beaumont Cabin Tent, 13-Person
I bought this tent near the end of the summer in 2011 , We used it all last summer , for abut 13 weeks total, and yes it rained alot in those weeks.
we did have one small leak at the front door. and found that there was a constant drip from a tree on that spot. when managed to move the tree branch and put a tarp over the spot until it stopped raining and sprayed it with a water repellent and no problems with it after that.
you can put it up by yourself, but much easier to put it up with 2 people. the tent still looks good. works well, bought myself an RV so I don't need the tent any more I will pass it on to my brother.

Lots of Space for the Family
We purchased this tent on sale last summer when looking for something of a decent size for the whole family. I had read a few reviews where people weren't happy with the ease of set up or condition, but we haven't had any problem with this tent. Quick set up with two people and the kids love having space to spread out!

Best Deal Ever !!
I purchased this tent 2 summers ago while I was an employee at my local Canadian Tire. First the deal was great, and second this is the easiest tent (for a large scale type) that i have ever assembled. Directions are very concise, the poles and tent very easy to put together for set-up. Once assembled, the main room has enough space for a queen size air mattress that we use for sleeping; the external rooms are also large enough for one individual. clothes, and a single air mattress to sleep on. Packing up a tent of this size is also very easy. All in all a very good product in my eyes and the deal was even better. Purchase it when they go on sale for at least half price to 60 % off and you definitely get your money's worth out of it.

Worst tent I have ever owned
Best features - lots of room inside and easy to set up and held up very well in golf ball size hail and 70 km/h winds..
Worst features - flimsy zippers, velcro on door rips off very easily, 7 out of 8 corners leaked, the flaps over the screen doors are only 1/4" below the zipper and if there is even the slightest wind the flap lifts and rain comes in through the opening where the screen zippers meet, the plug vents leaked, and overall a very poorly designed tent. Spent 4 nights out and were wet 2 of those due to the leaks. And yes I did waterproof the seams and zippers but to no avail. Would never recommend buying this brand of tent. Returning this one and going back to the tried and trusted Coleman tent.

Fantastic!!!
This tent is great. Considering its size, it is very easy to set up. One person can do it in less than half an hour, and it gets easier each time.
Taking the tent down is fast and simple. The best part is that it actually fits back into the bag easily.
I'd recommend putting it up once in your yard before you go camping. It's HUGE! It will make picking where to put it on your campsite easier. I also completely drenched the tent with the hose from all sides to make sure it was watertight and to seal the seams as recommended in the instructions.
You can also stand up inside the main room in the tent, and there is still plenty of headroom in the three other sections.
We love this tent and can't wait to use it again.

Love the tent
I went camping with my wife and stepson in this tent out in New Brunswick and loved the tent and its ease of use and most especially its size.
The tent went up without any problems the first timeand this was during a cold wind off of the ocean as well as standing up well during some windy nights. The tent remained dry during a late night rain our third night and also a strong downpour our last evening and except for a bit of rain near the front door which i would expect because of us walking in and out bringing in the few things to be protected from the weather...the tent would have been bone dry inside. Mind you, I did treat the tent with waterproof spray.
The space inside is great and was way more than enough for the three of us and will do a great job of holding our full family of 5 plus 1 dog in our future outings.
I look forward to using this tent on future camping trips.

Great Tent
I purchased this tent for 50% off at $150.00 and I have to say so far, this tent is worth the money I paid and more.
It does take a little effort the first time to figure out how to put it together (only instructions are printed on the tent bag and not that detailed) but really, it isn't very difficult. It took about 30 minutes to put it together the first time. Taking it apart was easy, and surprise it fit back into the bag which I didn't think would happen.
I sprayed the tent with a sealer making sure that all the seams were sprayed. I don't believe any tent is 100% waterproof, therefore I do this to any tent I have bought. It did rain the first night I used it, and not a drop came in. It wasn't a downpour or anything, but so far, very happy with it.
I am not sure if I would spend $300 on any tent, but at $150 it is definitely a great deal for a great tent.
Looking forward to going out next weekend to camp again.

poor redesign
I purchased this tent a couple of years ago, and found it quite adequate for the price I paid. Very roomy and easy to set up. Unfortunately it got wet in storage forcing me to buy a new one. Right away I noticed some changes in the design. They replaced the three piece tent poles on the wings for a single flex pole. I presume to make it cheaper in production. Because of this the fly tends to lift easier exposing the open screen ceiling allowing the rain to enter the tent. We had two days of rain and everything got soaked. It is a good tent if you plan on camping when there will be no rain or wind,

Great size/ poor construction
My wife and I loved the size of the tent. We only have two kids and there was plenty of room for our stuff. We do however wish that it was built alittle better. We have never had an issue with it leaking, but we have an issue with the zippers. It seems that the cast zippers got corrosion on them when it was damp out. The tent was fully air dried when it was stored over the winter and now we are unable to use the front zipper due to the corrosion. It is seized. We have also noticed (since new) that when the tent is set up, it looks as if the seams and/or stitching is about to let go. I thought at first that we had pulled it to tight but in fact its a design flaw. If it wasn't for that I would highly recommend this tent.
