Keep it Cool!
Great for those lazy, crazy days of summer. Very durable and can take a lot of abuse. Keeps food and beverages cold for a day trip or picnic. Light weight too.

Replacing them!
We are campers and day trippers! We have 2. These coolers are all right for a day trip because they are lightweight but for camping, even keeping them in the shade at all times, we are spending $10 a day on ice and by the day's end everything is sitting in water anyway. Food has gone bad because of being water logged, and that is yet another expense. I am going to invest in better coolers and hope that what we save in ice and food costs will make up the difference in little time!

Best Cooler I've owned
I bought my cooler about 8 years ago and it's come in so handy, so many times - I love it! I use it for everything from camping, to keeping over-flow food from my fridge cool, right down to using it to transport vegetables to local restaurants in the summer. I use this cooler about 11 months of the year and aside from showing some wear, it's still holding up very well!

Good For Day Trips But That's It
I purchased this cooler just over a year ago and have used it several times. It's a fantastic cooler if you're gonna use it on day trips or something similar where you only need the contents to stay cool for a short time.I just recently returned from a lengthy camping trip where coolers were our only source of refrigeration and I had to constantly put fresh ice in this cooler on a daily basis due to the fact that the ice in which I would put in this cooler daily would melt by days end.I always kept my coolers, including this one,in the shade as to prevent excessive heat from the sun but for this particular cooler it didn't matter what I did,I still needed to put ice in it on a daily basis. Also, this cooler does not have a drain so you will be constantly draining water the hard way(emptying and re-filling the cooler with your contents) as a result of the ice melting so fast.I use this cooler ONLY for my bottled and canned beverages due to the fact that the ice melts so quickly so I'm not worried about my food getting water logged and then ruined. So having said that I would NOT recommend this cooler to store your food in for any extended period of time(more than 24hrs) otherwise you will find your expensive meats floating in water! So long story short I would recommend this cooler for very short outings but I would not recommend this cooler for extended trips.I'm probably just gonna use this cooler for day trips and such and then buy myself another one of those '5 day coolers' by Coleman(Item # 85-3401-6) to replace this one for camping. Now those are EXCELLENT Coolers!!

Good cooler
It doesn’t have any special feature or anything but add some ice packs and you can keep food and beverage cool for a long time. It’s obviously great for camping but can also be useful in a hot summer days to prevent ice cream bought from the supermarket from melting during transit.
