I don't care how much of a boyscout you are, there are times when these are just handy for getting your fire going. I wouldn't camp without them

Best Firestarters...Period
When camping, we were always looking for dry kindling to start a fire. That is, until we discovered these little gems. Put one of these in the fire pit, light and away you go. Very easy to use and transport, nontoxic and waterproof.

Very good product
I've been taking these on camping trips for over 10 years now and I have not found a better product for lighting damp wood. Most campgrounds in Nova Scotia are going to sell wet wood and I've found these to be invaluable.
Use 3 when you have no kindling and wet wood you'll have a cozy fire in no time. They will last you seasons so you don't have to worry about them loosing any potency over the winter.
Well worth the investment.

Camping Must Have
These sticks have very little weight to them and light in all sorts of conditions. This should be part of every camper/hikers bag.

Very easy
It makes getting a fire started super easy. I use them everytime I am having trouble starting a fire. Great for backpacking when you never know what you will run into.

Must have when camping...
Instead of running around, looking for dry material to start your fire, just throw one of these in the fire, light it and boom, in minutes you have a nice fire burning. Very easy to use, and the great part is that they are water proof.

Great for wet camping!
I've tried a lot of different fire starters and these are the best I've ever tried. I try not to use these when I don't have to (mainly becuase I'm cheap) but when I need them they work everytime. The pack I own is 4 or 5 years old and they still work everytime I need them. All I usually need is one stick in the middle of some damp kindling and it keeps a flame long nough for even wet wood to dry out and catch fire. They are pretty durable as I have had them in and out of my bag over the years and the sticks are still in one piece.

I found these came in very handy when we arrived at our site on a rainy night with no dry kindling.
