Mattress has started leaking!
Bought about 3 years ago. First two years it was used 2-3 times on weekend camping trips. Staying inflated was an issue at first until i realized the plug was not securely pushed in. After that it stayed inflated. I pulled it out a week ago because I am awaiting my mattress to be delivered and it beat sleeping on the floor. First night was fine, but every night after, i found myself sinking a bit more. Now it stays half inflated. I have checked for holes and found none. I keep inflating it to get a good enough sleep but it is a pain. I loved the idea of the pump, and it is very convenient..but for the amount paid, its not lived up to the life i expected from this product.

No Troubles
I can't say I've gotten a lot of use out of this yet, but I've used this mattress on a two night camping trip and a one night camping trip - in a tent both times. This mattress has me, my wife, and our 25 pound dog sleeping on it - which is quite a bit for a double. I went with the double over the queen, only because our tent is so small.
As far as comfort goes, imagine sleeping on a vinyl bag filled with air - that's exactly what it feels like. If you've slept on one air mattress, you've pretty much slept on them all - there is no pillowtop or anything. I'm not going to try and convince you that this one is more comfortable than the next, they're all quite similar in that regard. Don't buy a new air mattress thinking it's going to be more comfortable than the one you already have.
The built in pump is great. It's quick to inflate and quick to deflate. It's not obnoxiously loud, and as well it doesn't stick out and get in the way.
It's durable. It's only been tenting, with only the bottom of the tent between the air mattress and the uneven ground with rocks and whatnot. More importantly our dog walks around all over it, and her claws don't do any damage.
I'm not having the problems other people are mentioning - by morning it has not lost air, and the batteries are not dying after a single use. Either it's operator error (valve unplugged or pump not inserted properly, etc.) or they got a lemon. If you get a lemon, then get an exchange or refund. I know that seems complicated since this mattress has a "please call us and don't take it back to the store paper," but I had an issue with a Roots camping chair (the leg rest was defective) and I called them up and started to tell them my problem, and they essentially just asked for my address and a week later I had a whole new chair - they didn't even ask for my other one back to prove it was broken or to refurbish it.

Does Not Keep Air
Bought this mattress for camping for two kids to sleep on. After 7 nights of camping, the mattress feels considerably less full after a couple of hours. By the end of the morning, you are on the ground surrounded by limply filled mattress. I would not buy this mattress again!!

Good purchase
It held my husband and I's combined weight of 300lbs for 5 nights in a row and we had a good sleep. I would say that it was a good purchase and no troubles with filling or emptying it.

Poor quality
Have used this mattress 3 times. Each time I put brand new duracell or energizer batteries in the pump and each time the batteries died before the mattress was fully inflated. Mattress also leaked and lost most of the air over night. Very disappointed that the Roots name was associated with such a poor quality product.

Make sure the pump is tight and the plug is secure
The bed is super easy to use and it is pretty comfy for an air mattress. I would bring a sheet next time because the suede on the mattress really collects fur from animals, leaves, hair etc...and i will need to give it a good clean. I recommend fastening the pump tight and push in the plug as deep as it goes(i left the boyfriend to do this and he didnt do it and the first night we ended up on the floor! lol) Fits two adults but probably more suited to one adult and one kid to be comfortable.

Really great bed for two
A very good bed for two people. Fits perfectly inside our tent (7X7 feet) with extra room for our stuff. Inbuilt pump means one less thing you have to remember to pack. Makes it super easy to inflate and deflate. But remember to carry 4 D batteries for the pump. The suede top is a non-slip surface so you won't roll off the bed even if you're right on the edge. Very light and portable when folded.
