My Best "Ride" Yet
I recently purchased this bike and on my first outing I covered about 25 Kms of on and off road terrain. It took me a few minutes to figure out the gears but after that it proceeded well. This bike outperformed all of my expectations. The front suspension absorbed all of the rough terrain flawlessly while the rear suspension discreetly smoothed out the rest. The seat surprisingly was quite comfortable when adjusted correctly. I'm still investigating the squeaky front disc brake when riding (not when applied). Don't see an adjustment on the caliper although cable adjustment helps some. I own four bikes and for the price, this is My Best "Ride" Yet.

Good for your $
If this fits your price range, then I would say its a great choice. If you can afford more $ than this, then I would avoid brands like CCM.

Excellent Bike/Excellent Price!
Wow, I'll tell ya...I bought this bike thinking i had just purchaced a fairly average mountain bike for myself that was very sharp looking. Well, Not only is it sharp looking but it is durable, takes the bumps and bangs, Also it has been upgraded with bells and whistles so to speak without a proble. Not hard at all to find extra's for it so i got my money out of this bike for sure! I love the ride and its well worth the price!!!!!

Buy a 'new' seat...
You can't go wrong at the sale price of $299 however, I highly recommend you immediately purchase a 'new' seat. This is my only caveat with the CCM Apex. Purchased at the Kenora C.T. store, my assembly was flawless. Great job guys!

Amazing Deal
I got it for a price of (299.00 Canadian)
-I was worried about the front suspension,because at first it looked a bit weak, but after going for a kilometer or so it started to work to its potential greatness.
-The comfort on this bike is awesome and its convertible rear suspension is great for when wanting to go down hill
-The style and appeal on this bike is great when I show it off to people they couldn't believe it was only $299
-Switching the gears on this bike is a breeze, except a little bit of a jump when it comes to the 7th and 8th gear
-I'm having a little problem with the seat because it keeps moving and I can't find a way for it to stay still, otherwise it is comfortable enough for my age and liking
- This bike is a great buy for exercise getting around and just having fun on a few slopes

Nice Bike!!!
Very nice bike, works very well.
My only negative point is the Shimano EZ-Fire shifters: I've spent a lot of time adjusting them so the shifting is smooth and accurate. The front derailleur shifter lever has too much travel and is awkward to operate; this shifter should be a ratcheting system. The rear works very nicely.
The full suspension is a beauty!!
Highly recommended.
