Great Bike for the Price!
It's a good bike for the price of $199. The quality and the performance of the CCM Static is pretty good, but not the best.

not the best
iv had this bike for about 2 years and i have to say the quality is good for the frame and wheels not so much for the derailleurs it always has to be adjusted and when you hit a large bump it kicks out of gear the brakes suck and get stuck but the worst is how heavy it is, this is the HEAVIEST bike i have ever owned for its size! and the fat knobby tires dont help you petal any better they also kick up lots of water and sand even when your driving slow and the rock hard, small seat isnt very comfortable overall good heavy duty frame but to heavy for that size of a bike and the full suspension robs even more power the petals are also too far beneath you so its hard to really petal when you need to get up a hill.

best bike I had!
This bikes works really well, really confortable and the rear suspension design looks strong and sturdy comparing to some other full suspension bike I had that I ended up breaking the arm that holds the seat post off while riding. (thankfully I had good back breaks in order to lock my back wheel really fast) but there is only one problem with this bike, the back brakes are kind of built in the wrong spot because when I bounce too hard on that bike while riding, I could feel the frame rubbing the brakes against the back tire. But still, I weigh about 109 kg (240 kg), and I can compress that rear coil spring easily. The only way to prevent the rubbing was to remove the back brakes.
Overall, great bike

Not worth it
I bought two of these bikes 2 years ago because of the features and price point; we only ride once a week. Nothing but issues ever since: I have had two bent cranks, the gears always need adusting or else the chain rubs on the derailers, the front & rear shocks suck, the bike is extremely heavy and both front & rear brakes can't be adjusted well enough to allow the tires to spin freely. Just a poorly manufactured bike. Because of the problems it never pedals well so even at half the price, it's not worth it.

It should ALWAYS be priced 1/2 price!
I just bought this bike and so far I'm not one bit impressed. Half the stickers were upside down, so I removed them all; the high gear keeps falling off (but I'm still working on the adjustements; the pedals are crocked; and so is the front disc, and, the front suspension bottoms out way too easily, and i only weight 150lbs.
On a positive note, I only paid 179$
P.S. It is really heavy....For an all aluminum frame. But you always get what you pay for.

CCM Static 21 Speed Full Suspension Mountain Bike
This bike so far has been a joy. Its got three major suspension area's that help it for extreme rugged terrain, I would recommend this bike to anyone. This particular bike has guages that represent the gear unlike the usual and painful twisting knobs. So this bike to me is definantly five star, although you may want to add some accessories like a bell, an ipod holder, a speedometer, why not? Bottom line, CCM is like the Toyota of bikes.

Very Good Purchase
I purchased this bike about a month ago and i had no problems ever since. The only thing about this bike that i don't like is the gears because sometimes the gears slip very easily when shifting. Also I also recommend buying a new seat if you are a adult.I have maintain this bike ever since i got it.This bicycle is very reliable if you just maintain it properly. I would recommend this bike to anyone that likes riding a bike through trails or to long distance places. Thank you for reading my review/opinion.
