great bike for half price
this is the best i've ever bought i would recoommmend this too aalll my friends but candian tire should put alot more effort in building this

A Below Average Bike in Stock Form
Bought this bike since it looked decent and had my minimum requirements of rear disc brake adapter and 1-1/8 steerer tube. And because I had some unused bit of parts to slap on as a school bike to travel from campus to off-campus house. So when I first got it, everything was assembled somewhat decent, nothing to rave about and nothing to complain. But for the amount that this bike is charging, it is not worth it.
Why? because all the parts on it are absolute cheap and easily broken
So for me, I had enough parts to replace 90% of the bike's component. I attached a picture of what it looks like now. I changed the Rear and Front Derailleur, Brakes, Wheels, suspension. shifters. All of it cost me nothing. the bike rides amazing, and it doesn't look like an expensive bike with the mix and match parts. So I can safely put my nice bike in my room. And ride this CCM and hopefully won't attract any thieves. lol
So whats my verdict? if you don't have any spare parts, don't get it. a couple of parts changed out can do wonders. The frame is built pretty good. Just everything as I said put on is ugh.

Decent
I bought the bike recently but I didnt use it till now
but I find it durable and the speed is working very well
and the front suspension seems very responsive.
I dont know why there is so many low rating but I disagree.

DO NOT BUY
awful bike. shortly after i bought it the gears started slipping, brakes completely stopped working, and the handlebars nearly fell off. ive blown out 4 back tires so im starting to think the back wheel has some sort of defect. all in all i am thoroughly disappointed.

AVOID BUYING THIS BIKE!!! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
I have had CCM bikes in the past and haven't had any issues with them. However, this bike is full of problems.
1) The brakes squeal and don't work properly no matter how much you try to adjust them.
2) The front suspension bottoms out easily (you only have to hit a pothole for it to happen).
3) The gear shifters on the handlebars are always moving around no matter how much you tighten the screws.
4) The pedal crank shaft stripped out within 3 weeks of use.
Most of these issues are probable due to improper assembly and sub-par parts.
Thankfully Canadian Tire gave me a full refund!

Very bad product
Very poor quality. Considering its porky weight, I expected high durabiliy. However, after only a few weeks of use, the gears began slipping, the brakes began squealing and sticking and about 1 year after purchase the derailleur broke leaving me stranded out in the countryside. I am 60 years old and I only use the bike on easy trails, so you can imagine my disappointment. Last bike I ever purchase at CT.

Please Read If U Plan To Buy
1st - back wheel is touching the frame
2nd - Back Breaks Are Terrible
3rd - Frame Rusts really easily
4th - Front Shocks are stiff
5th - Chain is loose and scratches the frame
6th - Gears don't work right past 7th gear
BOTTOM LINE : if you plan to buy
this be really careful and look closely at the shape of the bike

bent wheels
I had just bought this bike at my local Canadian Tire and took it home to find out that the back wheel was bent and so was the rear gear box. However i returend it and got a new one right away. the gears needed to be fixed a little bit but thats pretty much it over all it's a good bike.

Just OK
Bought this for my 14 year old daughter a year ago. She reports the front suspension is stiff. The hardware (shifters/derailers) are of mediocre quality. So the price only makes sense when this is 50% off. My daughter bent the rear derailer quite easily (and frame where attached) I replaced it with a $15 replacment which is more robust than the original.

best bike ever
i've never had a bike this durable in my life, never had anything wrong with it. i am the type on guy who jumps around on bikes and this one had a great suspension for landing off rocks and benchs. the only thing i would of loved on this bike is disk brakes. thats the only missing thing but this bike has all u really need. a little heavy but not a lot. great from wheelies in my case. did a half a mile wheelie with it.
in conclusion, if u are thinking of buying this bike, stop thinking and go get it now. best bike ever!!!
