Solid, well built and accurate
This gun is really good.I got this gun for Christmas and it was excellent! Then again that was 2008 so I am not sure if they are still made the same way. That gun has pumped out over 5000 bbs. I have shot pop cans at over 20 yards. It has travelled to Saskatchewan and back and owner all the only problem with it is the top sight broke off and the loading leaver has a crack and both of those happened last year. Overall this gun has shot tons of popcans hunted and killed gophers, so it is actually a strong,quality, accurate air rifle great for learning on.

i have the same one and it works great it is really powerful it goes rite through a can and it goes through a box and stuck in my wall. it is great for only $48.

as far as BB guns, its great.
I bought this expecting Pellet gun like results and i was angry when it didnt put out like a pellet rifle, but when i looked at it realistically and realized its a BB gun i cut it some slack and re-evaluated it. i was shooting from about 60 feet (i know, its a BB gun, not a pellet gun but i had the wrong expectations.) it is great at anything 30 to maybe 35 feet away. anything within that, it is dead accurate and does pack a decent punch. all in all its a good BB gun that i would recomend. Just remember, its a BB gun, dont set to high of an expectation. P.S, its also solidly built and durable from what i can tell. The rifled barrel really adds to the accuracy.

2 guns only about 100 rounds
I bought this gun for my son to teach him the does and dont's about gun usage as I had one when I was his age. The one I had easly in its life would have put out a couple of thousand rounds. sadly in 9 months and mybe 100 rounds my son is on his third one. Very poor .

Great gun for all ages
I have owned this gun for a year and it has bin great for target practice. I would rate accurasy 4/5. It's a great gun for beginners and experienced air rifle users. You should have no problem hitting a target from 15 yards. I can hit a can from 20 yards. And scared the local squirrel family out of my yard. But I would not recommend it for any hunting for it's small muzzle velocity. I could stun the squirrels at point blank.if you something good for small game I recommend guns with 400 fps and up. I would rate the power 2.5 out of 5.as I said not very powerful gun.now for the durability. It's seemed to have lasted for one year with only one oil check. And it works as good as it did first day! It probaly wont rust at all.now if you want to mount a scope or something there isn't much. But don't lose hope there is one Sort of ACOG sight they sell on the offishal site that's probaly the only thing you can mount without wrecking the barrel. But I recommend this gun on all levels of shooting because it's affordable and accurate. It's good enough to go through a can but stop inside. And please rate this review 5/5. Great Gun
This is my first BB Gun, and maaaaaan do i love it, great accuracy, light weight, holds a ton of BB's. The design of the gun is outstanding, it looks great and feels great, i shot for about ten hours yesterday (i got it yesterday) and man i got to know how it worked within the first twenty shots, the sight helps a lot to, its very precise
I would for sure recomend this to any one that wants a BB gun that shoots metal BB's and not plastic

Finally!!
Ralphie was right! This is the best, most accurate BB gun I have ever owned. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a "plinker"! Don't let the price fool you, his is a quality BB gun.

Great Value
This is the first air rifle I owned. I bought it to discourage (not kill) squirrels that have been invading our house, and it works very well. It's reliable and, other than the fact that. like most BB guns it shoots high at short range and low at long, it's quite accurate. I can reliably ding a beer can from 25 or more paces, and I'm no sharpshooter. But please, folks, if you buy this or any other air gun, don't be an idiot and kill "a whole whack of birds." Just go after pests or non-living targets..

GOOD BB RIFLE BUT PICTURE IS MISLEADING
The picture of the rifle listed is not the one Canadian Tire is selling for $44.99.
The picture shows the 70th Anniversary of the Red Ryder BB Rifle. The anniversary model is only made for one year, thus making it more valuable than the plain Red Ryder rifle. There isn't any silver (coloured) medallion on the the model that Daisy makes year after year.The rifle Canadian Tire sells you, is the more common model.
Having said that, the rifle is very well made for the price Canadian Tire sells it for
