Awful don't waste your money
Within three weeks both of my boys scooters were done for. They were rusted out under the cap wear the bearings are.....as well as thebearings themselves were falling out. This had nothing to do with weight as my boys are only 45lbs. They were not left outside and if it is simple dampness that rusted them out in such a short period of time that is pathetic

do not waste your money
My son who is 11 just bought this today and within an hour it was broken. He used his own money and he takes care of the things he buys..It says it will hold up to 150 lbs. I don`t beleive so. My son only weighs 80lbs. What a hard lesson for a 11 year old to learn. What a waste.

Good for what it is
If you need cheap, knock-around short-haul transport, or something for your 10-year-old to cruise around on in the park, this thing is great. Just don't expect it to hold up long under heavy use and I certainly wouldn't try to do tricks on it. Typical Canadian Tire quality here--the plastic quick release for the folding mechanism broke after my first minor spill, turning it into a slow-release. The wheel bearings are cheap and the headset bearing is set too tight--I'm wondering if it's worth getting out the tools to adjust it.
It's definitely not 100% aluminum--except for the deck, I think it's mostly steel and the 6 lb weight is also rather optimistic. I haven't had the opportunity to weight it yet, but I'd say 10 lbs is more realistic. Also, it's not good for tall or heavy people as the handlebars are low and the deck small and narrow. If you are over 5'4" you will stoop, however there is a fair bit of steer-tube sticking out, so you can raise the bars over an inch above their normal max height with an allen key.

Not the greatest
It is a good scooter if you are just riding around and not doing a whole lot of jumping and tricks. It was not good for me, (i snapped it) because i do tricks and I am verry agressive on scooters. If you are doig a lot of jumping and tricks and are agressive I would recommend the RAZOR ULTRA PRO or ULTRA PRO LO. They are a bit more expensive but are a better quality of scooter.

Small yet fast
This is a great scooter for anyone under 5" tall.
I am 6"2 and I bought this scooter for riding in Downtown. It would be a real blast if the handle was a bit taller (~5 inches more for me), and the wheels a bit larger (not good on some roads with build-in stones).
After about a kilometre of riding the scooter suddenly folded, but after tighting it up there were no problems.
Pros: Very lightweight, grip handle, easy to fold/unfold, sandpaper. Weight restriction: 175lbs
Cons: Short handle, made of alluminum (easily scratched)

Best Purchase
I bought 2 of these for my boys and they love them. They are very rough with the scooters but they are very durable. I would recommend these to anyone.
