Great Weights
My husband and I just finished completing our set of these rubberized hex dumbbells with two of each from 8lbs to 40lbs and they are great. High quality and no complaints thus far except for the price of course, but weights are expensive. Watched and waited but never saw these go on sale. I also wish they made a 5lb for this set as I had to buy a different set which looks off on the rack in comparison to the others. Overall a great set and I would recommend to others.

these are amazing!
i used theses a few times and i feel much stronger! get the 5 pound ones, you will not be dissappointed!

Solid construction. Bad smell.
The local store has never had the 20 pound plain cast iron dumbells in stock when I have looked for them, but this style finally showed up and so I bought a pair. They are bulkier than the plain cast iron. The bars have a chrome plated knurled grip that bulges in the centre. My first impression is that this is harder on the hands, but I have only had them for a week. The overall finish and appearance is good.
The downside is that the rubber really stinks. Unless you have a separate area for exercise this can be a problem.

Shaking off the rust
In anticipation of a more aggressive and competitive summer of paintball play, i purchased a few of these weights for preperation. These rubberized weights are of excellent quality and I would highly recomend them to anyone serious about personal fittness.
