I use these daily and find them to be great. The price is excellent for the set and switching the plates can be switched in and out quickly and easily.

Great Set
Great quality for the price. Having a carry case is nice and handy.
Just be warned that there is not actually 40 lbs worth of weights.
There are 4 -5lbs
There are 4 -2.5lbs
Thats a total of 30 lbs
Apparently the 2 bars are suppose to have the weight of 10 lbs making the combined weight of 40 lbs. Not a chance.
Either way I like this set and use it daily.

Very Satisfied!
These weights are great. They are built with good materials and solidly condtucted. And they dont clink like most dumbells with removable plates. A great purchase.

Love these weights
These weights have everything I want. I'm already muscled so all I want is to cut my body into shreds. I'm building a home-gym this summer and this will probably be my most useful tool along with the spin-lock barbell + ez bar. If you look-up a famous lifter, actually, the father of modern weightlifting Eugen Sandow, you'll see you don't necessarily need heavy weights to achieve perfection.
To finish this off, MUST HAVE for any home-gym.

Great product, great deal
Got these yesterday and I love them! Great deal, way more affordable than the hex ones. The thread is about 4" and the collars are 6/8". Keeping it balanced, you can "make" a single dumbbell any increment of 5 lbs up to and including 35 lbs, amazing for $50

Solid and Shiny! Great deal!
Got them today, they feel very solid and will fit most platters. I had an old set which had broken spinlocks and their platters fit these set perfectly. If you are planning to buy them, I would recommend getting extra platters since each dumbbell only comes with 20lbs(5+5+2.3+2.3+.4lbs). The case is very durable, I dragged the set from the store all the way through the subway. For beginners this is the best set I've seen so far.

Can't Say Enough
Like everyone else is saying: solid, durable, sturdy and quiet (no clanking or wobbling), compact, and totally affordable. Looks and feels like quality. Don't waste your money on a more expensive set more cheaply made. All the bang for your buck! Couldn't be more happy with it.

Better than what I was expecting
I wanted to do some light weight training after my runs but didn't want to spend a load of money. For the price, I can't complain at all. They do the job and are sturdy. Perfect for beginners. I bought them about 6 weeks ago and have used them 3-4x/week and have had no issues. Definitely recommend. They even come in their own plastic case making it easy to store out of the way.

Actually a great product
Great quality, great look, can't see ever needing to actually throw these out.
I bought these because I'll be in a wheel chair for the next three or so months, and I'm bored out of my mind. Might be ripped by the time time I'm out.
I don't know how the price relates to others on the market.
