Horrible Installation Instructions
Wasted one hour trying to install these. Never got there. Although I am no mechanic, I have done my fair share of mechanical jobs on my car. Can hardly wait to return them.

Good at First but Major Design Flaw!
I recently purchased these wipers as a replacement for my old blades. I wanted to get a good pair of wiper blades to match the harsh weather conditions that accompany winter. I went to the wiper blade section and came upon the Horizon by Rain-X Wiper Blades and they seemed to be what I was looking for. I noticed they were a little more expensive than the other blades available but, not by too much. I assumed buying more expensive, I would receive better quality.
The blades were easy enough to install. Once installed, the blades are to be left running on your windshield for 5 minutes in order to apply the rain-repellent solution. This was an added bonus.
Everything was great until one day I noticed, while driving down the 403 in a snow storm, I was increasingly losing visibility as the rubber on the blade was slipping out of the blade itself and was brushing less and less snow with each swipe. I had to pull over and slip the rubber back in place. This happened because as you will notice in the picture, there is caps on both ends of the blade that hold everything in place and this cap had, at some time, come off.
I see this as a major design flaw and had the situation been worse and I was unable to see a place to pull over, there could have been a big accident. Aside for the cap flaw, the product was great providing a clean swipe and with the added bonus of the rain-repellent, it would have been a good buy.

Worst blades ever to install
I spent an hour trying to install these wipers FORGET it. Ended up cracking my windshield when arm fell forward. What a mess.

Junk
Purchased these wiper blades that were over $20.00 each. cleaned glass with special wipes that came with them. ran wipers for approx 5 mins as instructed in kit. Total junk! Save your money and tie a dirty old rag to the end of your wiper arms as it will be more effective then these are.

Junk!
These were ok for about a week. At two months old, I have close to zero visibility when trying to wash away salt. The blade has contact on one little 2" section. These are actually the worst blades I have ever purchased and for the money I paid, I'm NOT impressed!! Don't buy these.

horrible wipers
I had to replace the front and back wipers on my 2006 Lexus LX470 and I thought these were the best out there. Boy was was mistaken.
I cleaned the glass and applied the coating as instructed.
After using them a a couple of weeks I must conclude that these are junk, especially in winter conditions.
They hardly apply any pressure on the windshield and are unable to clean even the slightest snow. When there is any form of ice buildup, they skip.
But they also fail in warmer weather. They produce streaks and also make a nasty noises when there is a slight drizzle.
The rear wiper doesn't cover the whole window due to the curvature of the glass.
After only a couple of months I will replace them with something else.
Not worth you money in my opinion.

Garbage
got these for my truck cause I wanted the best, I applied the coating provided to my windshield and installed them exactly as they said, the coating worked good, good thing it made seeing in the rain easier by beading the water because the wipers were absolute trash right out of the box. not sure why but they missed a huge spot right in my face and large streaks. I took them back and got some cheap motomaster teflon hinge wiper blades and voila, my windshield was mint. I place no blame on anything but the wipers. Do not waste your money.

Great buy
I have had theses for a year and they do the job. If people are having problem after a 6-8 months all you have to do is wash the blade with warm mild soapy water. and the steaking will go away. these wipers last a year great purchase. if you can get them on sale even better.

Fantastic
I used these in pair with the Rain-X water repelent windshield treatment and Rain-X windshield washer fluid and man, whenever i used them i dont get a since streak or smudge. they are firm enough to remove bugs, but soft enough to remove water perfectly. im very happy with these wipers.

Installed on 1999 Tercel, Easy to install. Good value if you can get them on sale.
