Beware Misleading Information
The picture accompanying this item is totally misleading. I got this rack for my wife's Sunfire and attempted to mount it with the upper bumpers ahead of the spoiler, as shown in the product info. Mounting it like that makes it impossible to mount more than 1 bike comfortably. Thus the negative reviews.
Mounting it with the upper bumpers behind the spoiler is easy, quick and handles up to 3 bikes very well.

Great Buy For The Price Range
Bought this today for family bike rides, it took about 10 minutes to install the first time on our Ford Escape (could easily work on a bigger SUV as well). It easily held 2 adults bike (with each facing the opposite way), and could fit another with out question. The strap wrapped around and secured both bikes with plenty left over. We did do an extra bungie cord as suggested by others to be on the safe side. We went over speed bumps and on bumpy gravel roads and the bikes were not going anywhere.
Just another note, it DID NOT leave a mark any marks on my Escape.
For $54.99 on sale or even at regular price I would highly recommend this bike rack, we expected to pay a couple hundred and were pleasantly surprised.

Super buy
I bought this product to transport my family's bicycles. This bike rack is very versatile as I have used it on three different vehicle types, with no problems. Three bicycles will fit, although different frame types may require some manouvering.
This carrier is easily attached to the vehicle via six easily adjusted straps. The bicycles are secured with one long strap. You may want to use a bungie cord for additional security, although this is not neccesary as I have traveled for long distances with no issues.
The price and ease of use make this an excellent product that I would recommend to everyone in need of a bicycle rack.

CHEAP product
I returned this product after two days use. The unit was easy to install however that is the end of the positive aspects of the product. The unit broke after two days of use. One of the clamps for the straps broke as I was trying to fasten it to the vehicle. The second thing wrong with this product is that the unit is supposed to hold three bikes, however it only fit two adding a third would not have been possible.

Awesome Product!
I bought this product on sale for $45, and once I tried it out I think the product is great! If you have the slightest amount of patience, it is very to install on a car, takes about 15 minutes. I was easily able to fit three bikes on it, and the 80" securing strap was more than enough to secure all bikes properly. Whoever has a problem with that is doing something wrong. Besides, if you don't find the strap long enough, buy an extra one or use some rope.

Good but not great
It does the job, sort of, the strap that is attached to secure bike is WAY to short, (you have to buy more starps) I don't know how anyone could ever fit more than 2 bikes on it and it's a bit of a pain to put on the car. If I could do it again, I would have paid the few extra bucks and gotten the rack with the fastners for each bike. But it does work if you have the time to set it up. For Sale, one rack, uesd 3 times...

Excellent!!!
Excellent bike rack! I purchased it on sale for $37 to carry my MTB on my Saturn SC. It is easy to attach and doesn't scratch the car or bike. I like that the two oversized locking knobs allow you to quickly flatten it out to put in your car. Never had a problem with loosening up and I've taken several 100 and 160 km trips with the bike on it. Put a simple knot in the strap about an inch from the buckle if that is a problem.

Works
Good price. Works well so far but straps could be better.

Great Value
We find this was easy to install and can hold our 2 adult bikes and 2 children's bikes. Only small issue is that the buckle strap that secures them let go once so we now just tie another rope around just to be on the safe side.

Great for the price
I haven't encountered any issue with this bike rack. It fit on my car, easy to install, well made and it worked great; it hold well on highway and in different weather conditions. Good price for such product.
