Pull-Eaze Roll-up Door Kit 2.5 5 2 2

Performs As Advertised But This product performs as advertised and was an easy installation. However, the sand filled pipe that acts as a weight for the door has a tendency to slide out of the pipe pocket a few inches. My solution to this was 4 black weatherproof 8 inch cable ties. These cable ties were inserted in 4 small slits I made in the pipe pocket about 2 feet apart and were secured around the pipe and the pocket fabric below the pipe. The ties were then trimmed back to the cable lock. The door now works perfectly every time. March 12, 2012

Worst purchase ever Not the product you want if: you are 5'2" and 110lbs of average upper body strength, have a centre antenae on your vehicle, live in a cold climate where plastic becomes stiff, you don't want to spend 10 - 15 minutes getting it to roll up. - comes with tubing that you have to get your own sand to fill - comes with 2 pulleys that you attach on either side, of the inside of the shelter, of the 'door' by cutting holes in the fabric of the shelter comprimising the integrity of the fabric - comes with a length of stretchy cord that you attach by cutting holes in the fabric, again comprimising the integrity - once filled with sand, tubing slides into a snug but not tight sleeve...under the sleeve runs a 6" wide flap that runs the length of it - once all in place the idea is that you grasp the free hanging cord on the right side and the free hanging cord on the left side and pull down - there is no leverage point - tried tying a knot - no good, the cord is stretchy so couldn't get knot high enough - a hook is provided to tie off the 2 cords on either the left or right side meaning after you have pulled up the flap you have to slacken one side, and keep the door opening level, and then tie off - once done you find that not only did the door not roll up because of the 6" flap running under the length of the sleeve but that the tubing has slipped out the end of the sleeve because the sleave is not sealed and the tubing is not fixed in place - so the door doesn't roll...this means it is buckled and the opening to exit from is maybe 4' high - 6 tries later was getting the same reults - seriously doubt it would work much better in the summer when the fabric wasn't stiff from cold because of the flap running length of sleeve...perhaps sealing the sleave and fixing the tubing somehow might improve it but I really doubt it - after purchasing the roller kit I discovered the day that I type this that they now sell a curtain assembly which might work better January 25, 2009
