Worst thing you could put on your car
I used to use Fram filters on all my cars. I bought a Tiburon and noticed clacking from the engine as soon as I put it on.
Did some research and found that Fram is one of the cheapest filters you can find. They're poorly constructed and made out of the cheapest materials available. The only reason they're so popular is because they're so cheap.
I wouldn't even recommend using it for 3000-5000k intervals. The valve inside the filter isn't strong enough and will cause the oil not to reach the top of your engine, causing noises and premature wear.
I recommend getting your filters at the dealer (they're cheaper than you think!) or getting a good one like Mobil1 (or even Wix). A few bucks more could save you hundreds/thousands down the road.
If in doubt, Google Fram filter quality.

Best they have for Synthetic
This was the best filter I could find for my car at CT. They did not carry 6X guard which would be better for synthetic oils since it would last longer but this did the job at a good price.

Its an average filter
I know all of the videos on youtube about these having paper elements and being poor quality but in reality these filters do just fine for 3-5000 km oil changes. I have used these before and have had no problems, I stuck to the recommended oil change intervals (5000) and really just do highway driving.
On the other hand, recently I have changed to synthetic royal purple oil and filters and noticed a massive difference in how smooth the car drives. The synthetic costs $130 for an oil change doing it myself but its well worth it because you can go 8000km before changing the oil again. I also put in some lucas hd synthetic oil stabilizer too.

Does its job
What more can i say that it does its job of filtering particles out.
The "sure grip" top is sure nice though when i have oil all over my hands so i can still get the filter tight into block.
