Works Great for My Car
I do my own oil changes and I've never had a problem with this synthetic motor oil. My car runs fine 12 years later.

I Have been running the 5w-20 Mobil 1 oil in my 2005 Mustang GT for the past year, I have absolutely no complaints. Made the engine run smoother and for a decent amount of time.
The oil was changed pretty much right at 5,000 miles (8,000 km) and the oil was pretty dark in color. I never got an oil analysis done but the dark coloration could be the additives and detergents doing their job and cleaning the motor. The car was still running smooth and have had no issues.
I am current;y running Valvoline's SynPower full synthetic only because it was the oil that was on mad sale in the States when I was last there. We will see how it holds up to the Mobil 1.

Excellent product
I have used Mobil 1 5W30 in my Toyota Matrix XR since the first oil change at 3000 km. Although Toyota recommends lighter oils for this vehicle, I prefer 5W30 for better protection at high temperatures. It seems to work very well. At the last oil change at 50,547 km I sent a sample to Blackstone Labs for analysis. The oil had 10,463 km on it and the report stated the engine was in excellent shape and that I could even extend the oil change interval. Overall, I am very satisfied with Mobil 1 and will keep using it for the life of the car.

Excellent product!
I used the Mobile 1 Synthetic oil 0w40 for the Smart, it works very well. Very good product!

Mercedes MB 229.3 and MB 229.5 standard.
Mobil 1 0w40 is the only oil that meets Mercedes MB 229.3 and MB 229.5 motor oil standard.
This means you can use this motor oil with ANY gasoline powered Mercedes. This oil is also compatible with ALL gasoline BMW's as well.
In Canada the consumer choice for Mercedes motor oil is limited to Mobil 1 0w40. I would not put anything else into my car.
I own a couple BMW's and Mercedes, this is the only Oil I use. Only oil Mercedes dealers use when I get my oil changes as well.

Use 0W40 european formula in smart diesel engine. As a chemical engineer I spent some time investigating the specs on the best motor oils. I even spoke to a chemical engineer at Mobil. This is likely the best motor oil made.

Best Quality for a Great Price
I have found this oil to be the best quality for a great low price. I am a student and getting a price that I can afford to get me to school each day is most important. Also keeping my Van in good working order is paramount and Mobil Oil is a great product to do this. I feel confident My Van will run at it's best with Mobil Oil from Canadian Tire.

Second only to one!
Mobil1 is the best synthetic oil available in stores. It comes with several premium vehicle makes from the factory - that's how good it is. I used to do an oil change twice a year. I now run Amsoil, which isn't readily available except online but it has twice the drain interval Mobil1 allows.

Best oil out there
I have over 260,000 km on my 2003 Pontiac Vibe and it passed the Drive Clean with the same specs as when it was new,use Mobil 1 every change.
