I used this 5w20 oil from day one in my 2004 Accord V6. 212,000km later, engine still ran like new. I wish CT made a 0w20 available for my new car.

My Excellent Experience
Among other vehicles, I have a Chrysler Intrepid with the 2.7 liter engine. It says everywhere on the internet, usually in BIG LETTERS, that these engines ALL FAIL at around 70,000 - 90,000 kilometers due to a poor design which results in lubrication problems.
I had always done regular oil changes with good quality conventional oil, but when I heard this, I switched to this brand of synthetic oil at 80,000 kilometers.
Because synthetics suffer very little viscosity breakdown, I leave the oil in for at least 15,000 kilometers between changes.
Well, now it's just about to turn over 400,000 kilometers, and it still purrs like a kitten. Doesn't blow any blue smoke, and I don't have to add any oil between changes.
It made this problematic engine survive, and I am completely sold. I use it in all my vehicles and small engines, and I know I don't have to worry about them wearing out in my lifetime.

Marginally better than conventional oil
I believe this synthetic is only slightly better than a good conventional oil. if you're going to go synthetic spend the little extra and go with Castrol or Mobil 1. You engine will thank you for it.

Great Product
Been using it in my civic 98 since purchase in 2003. At the time the car had 80,000kms. It now has 350,000 and the motor still runs like brand new. It gets almost 0s on emmission tests! Been doing all oil changes with Formula1 synthetic!!

Great stuff
I got this on sale on boxing day. I dont usually buy synthetic motor oil, but for the price I couldnt say no. The regular price however is still a little high.

Just Average
Had the same poor experience with this oil as another reviewer. Used it once, my car developed a nasty case of lifter tick that went away with a different oil.

No issues
No issues with this oil.
Approximately 70,000 KM I switched over to synthetic oil on my 2005 Pontiac Pursuit. I noticed a huge difference in my engines performance, and the quality of oil appears to meet my standards.
This oil is a steal when it's on sale. I would compare it to Castrol Synthetic.

Great Value for the Money
I run Formula 1 Synthetic 5W-20 in 2 Fords and a Mitsubishi Eclipse. I usually buy the oil on sale at around $20/Jug.... Best value around for a True synthetic base oil manufactured by Shell Canada (Check Can. Tire's Web site: http://msds.canadiantire.ca/search.asp and enter the product code 28-8712).
This oil is basically the same as Pennzoil Platinum at a greatly reduced price !! I normally run the oil for 7500 Kms between oil changes and have had no issues over a significant number of years service.

Awsome
Guys I never believed on Canadian Tire products until I bought my Accord and I was not able to find 5w20 from Castrol or Mobil.
It worked awesome, my gas consumption went down and my accelerator become so light and engine got much quieter. I think they buy the stuff from Esso. Worth trying if bought on sale cost less then the convention oil

10K Easily Capable
This oil seems great with excellent flow, noticeable difference in fuel consumption, and it comes out after 10,000 km looking like it did when it first got poured into the motor. Slight difference but honestly it stays super clean with a QS filter the entire interval. Reguraly achieves 38 plus mpg up to 50mpg on some trips in a 2.0L SOHC split port motor
