Beware is you have Timing Chain Used this oil for first time in my Nissan Frontier after using Regular Quicker state higher mile Oil always with no problems . Then 1000k later started to get whine from timing chain made appointment for the repair. Changed oil 2 days before repair with Castrol GTX High mileage oil have not heard a sound since. The oil wasnt lubing my timing chain enough, I will never use again. Almost cost me $1500 Repair bill. February 28, 2013

The 5k Rule I know as a rule of thumb, you should change your oil every 5k. I own a 2002 Hyundai Elantra with well over 300000km on it, and a 2007 Chevy HHR with nearly 200000km. I personally change my oil every 80000k with no trouble at all. Both cars run smooth and I save myself a few oil changes a year. I trust the Quaker State brand enough to do what I do with my cars. Best Oil I ever used I used to buy Mobil 1 oil for my vehicles, but this time around I purchased Quaker State for my car. I changed the oil when i bought the car and have since put over 5000Kms on the car and the oil is still dark gold with no tinges of black to be found. I have to say this oil outlasted Mobil 1 oil June 21, 2010

best oil available I have a 95 gmc truck with 940000 km on it. this is the only oil i have used since way back when it was only 400000. this oil has done me or my vehicle a proven service with no problems. June 18, 2010

Worth the extra cash I own a 96 saturn sedan with 150k on it, and this motor oil is the best so far. I have not had to refill this once since my las oil change so no burn off, never a problem starting the motor and you can feel the car run that much better over the cheap stuff. September 15, 2008

Great oil I'll be honest, I don't know for sure if the additives they put into this 'high mileage' really do a whole lot, all I know is I've been using this oil every 5K km since my Saturn turned 200k... and it just rolled past 450k, and still runs like a top! ;) ..if you got a car with a billion miles on it, I'd suggest spending a few extra bucks and GET THIS OIL!
