The Best
Most Motor Oils are good but Quaker State Motor Oil is by far the best.I use it because I want the best for my car.

Not bad, but not thick enough
I either use Quaker State or Penzoil and I gotta say that I prefer Penzoil as it's a bit thicker and I find my car runs a bit better with Penzoil. However, this oil performs fine and resists from turning black more than the 'no name' oils out there.

Safe purchase
You can't go wrong with Quaker State.
Quality of this oil is far superior than most brands around.
Stay with this oil year round and notice the difference.

THe only brand I would use. A very reliable oil and my cars have ran great for over 30 years.

Only Motor Oil I Use
This is the only motor oil I use when I change the oil on my car. It has kept the engine on my "beater" car in excellent condition. Based on how well it has worked I have never felt the need to go to more expensive motor oils.

Comes with warranty even if you change your ownoil
One of the best conventional oils you can get for the money. Best part is that if your engine has problems that was determined to be by the fault of the oil up to 400 000kms then QS will pay for the damages. Never had any problems and even when I change it at 5000km intervals the oil is still moderate brown from my old '92 Dodge Spirit 3 speed auto that runs 2800rpm at 100km/h which is relatively high. I've been running it for over 200K oout of its 419K on the original engine.

My brand
My dad used quaker state and so now do I.
I tried other brands on sale but noticed lessened mileage per tank on my vehicle.
In BC we have air care, which tests the emissions from our vehicle engines.
I always change the oil with this prior to the tests along with all filters and pass no problem each test year.

Nothing is better for my engine...
I've tried a number of different brands of oil over the years (I won't name them here out of courtesy), and nothing has been nicer to my minivan's engine than Quaker State.
The oil stays clean and lasts longer than anything else I've used (except maybe Pennzoil, which has also been good to me), and is worth the extra few pennies.
Heck, given how long the oil lasts, I find I save money by needing to buy less oil in the long run!
