Amazing!
This is by far the best drying towel/chamois out there. Like many other reviewers, I used real skin chamois for years, I finally tried one of these and I am never going back to anything else! Starts working right away and absorbs an amazing amount of water before needing to be wrung out. It has made my car washing ritual so much faster. Never stratches the paint if used correctly and kept clean.
Well worth the money.

The perfect synthetic chamois
For the longest time I swore by using sheep/deer skin chamois for that streak free, dust free, scratch free drying, but I was always frustrated by how quickly they would soak up without having really covered much of the car. By the time I got to the tail end of the car, the water would have dried up and left marks. Microfiber always left lint all over my surface so that didn't work either.
The first time I tried this I did not read the instructions and pulled out this hard piece of what felt like an incredibly dried and compacted sponge. I used it and was rather disappointed. - Then I read the instructions. Soak this first, you'll notice a change of colour. Once the texture ... resembles that of very thick leather you're good to go. This thing is like a man starved of water, it keeps soaking and soaking and soaking without any lint or scratches. To top it off, I can almost do my entire car with one single piece - of course this depends largely on how big your vehicle is, I drive a Civic.
Keep it moist so you don't have to go through the same soaking routine every time and remember to wash it so it doesn't foster the growth of mold as it remains moist.
I try my best, but I can find no fault in this reasonably priced product. Compared to what I used to spend on animal skin this has paid for itself many times over. Just read the instructions first!

Simply the Best!
I've been using the same Absorber for 20 years now, (thats like a thousand washes lol), have used just about everyother drying towel or chamois ever made and the Absorber by far beat them all out.Simple to care for; I keep it in it's plastic case, out of the cold and keep it damp.Easy to clean; even heavy soil or the odd grease washes off with simple hand soap and some scrubbing, I do this after each wash.Dries up probably twice it's weight in water in one swoop, then simply squeeze it out.Stays super soft if cared for, I tend to say as soft as a babies bumb.Definately will not scratch any paint if used correctly; the finish on my cars are a testiment to that.Definately an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.A definate purchase for any car care enthusiasts ;-)

Absorbs like no other
This "skin" absorbs better than my chamois that I've had for years. I replaced my chamois with the Absorber because it was taking too long to start absorbing the water on my car (even after wetting the chamois). The absorber starts working instantly and provides an almost streak-free finish.
Great product and really does exactly what it says. Much better than the Chamwow! and others.

Great item
It's been a great product since I bought it & I got it after reading the reviews of the others who posted here before me. They were all correct in saying that's it's just the right thing.
I was novice when it came to taking care of the car exterior and didn't know what to get. This is the 1st product I've bought and I don't regret buying it. I'd recommend it to you and think you'll be happy with it's performance.

Best drying cloth ever
Off all the products I purchase this weekend including car wash soap, tire rim cleaner, microfibre clothes, wash mit and spray on wax this item is my favorite. Dryed an entire car with only needing to be ringed out once. Also, comes in an assortment of cool colours!

Awesome Product
This is the best thing you can buy for drying your car. I love the soft rubbery feel it has and it doesn't scratch your car's finish. Makes it so easy and fast to dry the car now because it holds so much water. I usually only have to wring it out a few times and I'm done. The plastic container keeps it nice and moist between washes but after a few times it starts to smell a bit mouldy. Wash it with a bit of soap and water and it's as good as new. Sometimes when it gets a bit dirty I find that it's really hard to get it completely clean.

Huge Fan! Outperforms The Rest!
I've used this, microfibre weave towels & cloths, and Armor All's synthetic chamois to dry cars.
The Absorber truly outperforms them all in my opinion.
-- Microfibre weave towel: great at drying - until they get soaked about halfway through your car dry. They then pick up less, spread water around and don't wring out water very well. Also, they need to be hung out to dry afterward. Not a bad option overall though.
-- Armor All's syn. chamois - not bad. Doesn't slide along a clean car as easily as The Absorber and doesn't seem to pick up as much...but it IS $7-8 cheaper...
The Absorber picks up a LOT of water, slides nicely, wrings well, doesn't harden up of course and truly is easy to store quickly for the lazy.

Better then the rest
I used to always buy the $30-$40 sheep skin ones, but this is much better for less money. It says to leave it in the plasitc container it comes with, make sure you don't throw it away b/c if you leave the towel just hanging it will dry up.
