Save Some Effort
Works well on large flat areas. You will still need to apply and remove wax by hand on tighter areas but this makes the job of waxing easier and less time consuming.

Works great
I had this for two years now and I love it. I drove too close to to a bush and it scratched the side of my new truck pretty bad. This polisher buffed it right out. I works great on paint and chrome. My aluminum wheels now look like the day I bought the truck.
I am a happy guy.
BUT. The appliciater tore to shreads so I have to replace it.
Besides that all is well.
See pictures below. Took about 20 minutes per wheel. Get a good polish for best results.

Did The Job Only
Bought this item 05/18/2013 and it did the job that I bought it for. I got a good end result but I would recommend looking at other polishers to choose from and spend a little more money.

get it on sale
good tool, i don't really know what would make a great polisher, but these go on sale at least every second month, so wait and get it half price

Wax on
I wasn't really impressed with this. It's been in the box for a while. I find doing it by hand is a better job.

junk at best
use it 3 times
1) apply wax on my boat
2) apply wax on my car
3) try to polish an older fiberglass boat and it goes POP - the end of story!
No more Simoniz, it's cheap is every way, that includes quality.

waste of money
I found this product to be ineffective and badly made with poor accessories. The spin speed is low and the cloth spins off the unit. The foam barely fits and I ended up ripping on edge of it while putting it on. The performance of this is nill in the end. sorry.

Good for large panels
This product comes in a convenient carrying case with an assortment of buffers. The unit works well on large flatter panels but does not fit into the crevices on my vehicles very well. For large areas of buffing it saves time, but you still need to use old fashioned elbow grease for nooks and cranny's.

Not Very Good
Bought new at CT. Used it on my truck once, boat once, and then went to use it on my car... Stopped running. Good luck getting it fixed, getting a manual, getting parts etc. You get what you pay for. Save your money for something half decent! (Porter Cable)

No good for polishing
This thing is a wax applicator at best... Not a very good polisher at all...no where near enough power to get the sheen I want on my 2000 Saleen. It took me almost an hour to do just the front fender and drivers door... its more of a glorified palm sander... might work great for a brand new car that hasn't seen much of the world yet. But don't expect it to bring much new life into a driven vehicle...
