junk at best
use it 3 times
1) apply wax on my boat
2) apply wax on my car
3) try to polish an older fiberglass boat and it goes POP - the end of story!
No more Simoniz, it's cheap is every way, that includes quality.

waste of money
I found this product to be ineffective and badly made with poor accessories. The spin speed is low and the cloth spins off the unit. The foam barely fits and I ended up ripping on edge of it while putting it on. The performance of this is nill in the end. sorry.

Good for large panels
This product comes in a convenient carrying case with an assortment of buffers. The unit works well on large flatter panels but does not fit into the crevices on my vehicles very well. For large areas of buffing it saves time, but you still need to use old fashioned elbow grease for nooks and cranny's.

Not Very Good
Bought new at CT. Used it on my truck once, boat once, and then went to use it on my car... Stopped running. Good luck getting it fixed, getting a manual, getting parts etc. You get what you pay for. Save your money for something half decent! (Porter Cable)

No good for polishing
This thing is a wax applicator at best... Not a very good polisher at all...no where near enough power to get the sheen I want on my 2000 Saleen. It took me almost an hour to do just the front fender and drivers door... its more of a glorified palm sander... might work great for a brand new car that hasn't seen much of the world yet. But don't expect it to bring much new life into a driven vehicle...

A must for car lovers
I usually wax my cars twice a year, this polisher has been my best friend for a while.
I like the size and weight, the included case for storage and the power is enough for the occasional job.
But the uses are for more than waxing cars, if you have bathtubs or shower stalls made of fiberglass, an occasional waxing with this machine will keep them like new.

Bought on sale
I believe the serious car detailers all recommend the Porter-Cable machines but I could not see spending $200+ for this type of machine. I bought this machine on sale for about $30 and I am pretty happy with it.
It feels powerful enough and is fairly light so that my hands/arms were not worn out after polishing and waxing my entire large-size car.
My one complaint is the the on/off switch is much too easy to accidently turn on. I became aware of this quickly when I almost splattered my car and myself when I had just applied polish to the pad and accidently switched on while machine was turned upside-down.

Must geat on sale
I purchased this item on sale. Finding replacement 10 inch bonnets are a problem. My old ones have been washed over many times. If you decide to wax your car I would recommend using a good polish like mothers then use liquid wax like mothers. My car came so bright. Makes all the hard work worth it.
