Easy to use and effective.
Some jerk scratched up my drivers side door in a parking lot and then left with no note. I was so mad and shops were going to charge me hundreds to fix the paint. This product removed about 80% of the damage in 20 minutes. It's not a miracle by any means but it fixed enough of the paint damage that i didn't bother getting it fixed by a pro and it looks pretty good.

works like no other scratch remover I've tried
this 3-step process works incredibly well. Just be aware that step 1 is sanding the clear coat and, due to the resulting dull area, is not for the faint of heart.
I had a very visible scratch on my hood, actually a series of scratches about 5 cm wide and at least 20 cm long. After using this product only the two outside scratches are faintly visible. Note however that I was being overly cautious using this for the first time, I may go back and do it again after a proper waxing.

Great product
This is a wonderful product to remove fine scratches in clear coat.I was very happy with the results,just take your time and follow the directions and you cant go wrongand the last step with the synthetic wax is important for the shine

Great Product!
When u have fine/medium scratches in the clear-coat, no amount of elbow grease and rubbing compound is going to solve the problem. This is the only product out there that will work - u are in fact sanding down the clear-coat using an extremely fine abrasive pad - leaves a SCARY dull finish, which u then buff to a shine using the supplied rubbing compound and then polish. Sounds real scary - I know - but it is the only thing that will work, provided the scratches don't go thru the clear-coat and into the paint, and even then, I still think this product might improve things. I used the product on a high-end BMW and although I wasn't too ambitious about removing all the scratches for fear of going thru the clear-coat (pretty hard to do, given that the pad is so fine, things looked a heck of a lot better after. Just follow all the instructions and yes use the supplied buff pad attachment with a drill - the only deviation I suugest is just limit your sanding to the scratched areas, i.e., no need to extend outside the zone of the scratches as suggested, i.e., no feathering is required. All it takes is several light pressure strokes with the pad, and u can even feel free to shine-up the area to see how it looks before deciding whether to proceed w further sanding. While I was not willing to take a chance and remove every single scratch, the product did an absolutely amazing job in making the scratches disappear and/or blend in so as not to be nearly as noticeable. Great product, and worth the $30, even if u can't reuse it (the supplied compounds will likely dry-out over time unless properly sealed). Wouldn't u pay $30 if your baby looked good as new - u bet u would. Forget about the competition which relies on elbow grease and rubbing compound - great for removing swirl marks, etc. but not scratches.

WOW!
I had purchased a Pontiac G6 at auction for resale, it had some pretty bad scratches, scratches I honestly did not think would be covered by this or any other product. It's performance absolutely blew my away. Great product.

awsome product works great
bought this product thinking is wont work like the other ones and boy i was wrong. It fast and easy steps and does a great job looks like brand new after you are done. Removes only the smaller scratches and that are not that deep. Thanks to 3M for making this product will be using it for years to come.....

Great job removing a 3 foot x 1/4" scuff / scratch
This kit did exactly what it said it would do on the box. It removed a long white scuff mark from a close encounter with a parking gate. It took less than half an hour start to finish.
It wasn't able to take out a few deep scratches that went right through the clear coat and into the paint. I was OK with that, as the instructions in the kit say not to try and use it if the scratches are that deep.
Overall a great find and a great product.
