Clay is leaves car surface super super smooth!
Clay performs perfectly to lift all the containments from your car. It makes me feel confident that my paint is ready for the polish and wax and will avoid pushing that debris into the paint further.
Great product!
Note - Needs a little elbow grease but totally worth it.

Leave surface nice and smooth
This is a great starter kit for claying your car. Kit includes a really nice microfibre towel, Mother's California Gold Quick Detailer and 2 clay cars. My only complaint is that the clay bars are a little on the small side. Overall a really nice kit.

removes anything.
I've used clay bars to remove hydraulic fluid from vehicles. road tar. brake dust. anything. clay baring is a very effective way to clean your paint.

A must for the serious detailer
This system works amazing. It removes everything that sticks to your paint.
For those that say this didn't improve the shine and look of their paint:
A clay bar is used to remove stuff stuck to paint, it's not intended to polish and shine it. If your car is old and dull looking, this might improve the look a bit, but you will need to follow up with polishing. Wash your car, use this, wash again, then go to work on the paint with polish or wax.
A good tip, break the bars in half and use one half at a time. If you drop it on the ground it's toast. Don't attempt to re-use it you could scratch up your paint with stuff stuck in it.

Works well
Used only half a bar for a sedan, turned out really smooth afterwards. Very useful to do before a polish and then sealant/wax.

Waste of Money
I purchased this to enhance the paint of my honda, I used it twice accordingly, and it made NO DIFFERENCE!!
Or maybe it is that my car is just too clean!!
Well, CT returned it, so it was worth trying.
Based on other reviews, I would only use this stuff if your car's paint is dull even after washing and waxing it.

It Works!
Reluctant at first but glad I bought it. Removed those yellow rust-like dots and the black dots presumably from the stuff they put in the cracks during road repairs. Just spray a small area, press and glide the clay bar (half a bar is enough at first) as if it were sandpaper on wood, then wipe it dry.
Will require a bit of pressure for the thicker road grime but I tell you it's worth it. If you thought your car was clean & shine prior to using this then you'll be pleasantly surprised after using it. We've all seen that yellow rust-drip on the trunk lid of the car in front of us at the stop lights; this stuff will remove it.
Thank you Can Tire for the sale price as I might not have tried this product at regular price.

Good stuff
Worked well at cleaning up some old paint and great at removing paint over spray. Keep surface good and wet does wonders.

Very happy with this product.
Before buying this product, I tried Meguiar's® Ultimate Compound with no results. eturned the Ultimate Compound and I bought Mothers® Clay Bar System.
1 clay bar was enough to do my truck even though these bars are hotel soap size unlike you see in the picture.
Very happy with the results.
