Good value
Purchased a set of the 3 ton stands on sale to go with my Certified 3 ton stands and jack combo. Solid stands, simple to use and very good value, especially when on sale.

Last a lifetime
These stands will last you a lifetime. they are well built and sturdy but I would not use them in the top setting.

Sturdy and Durable
I've has the previous style jack stands in 6-ton version for use with my 5,000+ lb SUVs for perhaps 2 decades now, and they have held up flawlessly even when I kept them outside without protection. The present style uses the same gauge metal, the same post and locking mechanism and actually look much nicer. After 20 years, mine look a bit shabby now, but have developed no significant rust nor any apparent metal fatigue. They are extremely rugged. I've had one tip over once when I forgot to put the brakes on (ALWAYS CHOCK THE WHEELS!!!), without any damage whatsoever. That's how tough they are.
Their only weakness, lack of a base under the legs, which causes them to dig into the driveway, a no-no on old asphalt especially on hot days, and not great for gravel (which may cause them to sink in a few inches). Putting pieces of plywood underneath solves the problem, but is usually only good for one use (the metal digs into the plywood). They would be perfect with pads under the legs, that's the reason I did not give them 5 stars.

best value
these stands are best bang for the buck, there sturdy and tough made out of solid steel so you don't have to worry about anything once your under your car. you can except to be safe with these at all times, highly recommended.

Very Sturdy
I have no concerns with relying on these jacks. They're very basic and very reliable. They hold their weight properly.

good stands
They dont make my think they are going to bend and twist, so thats good. They perform well and easily lock into place

Good buy
I bought 4 of the 2 ton stands about 4 years ago. They've held up well to very regular use. I mostly use 2 of them but 4 allows me to have the car completely off the ground; however they get a bit wobbly at full height. If you are going to use them at or close to max height regularly I'd go to the next size up.

Great purchase
They do the job securly. They hold my dodge caravan with no worries. Why pay for brand names and give the extra $$$$ when you can get an excellant quaility and even better the price. I highly recommend.

As good as others
For the price, these stands are goods as the more expensive branded ones. I bought the 3 ton stands and they seem well made, heavy cast iron for lug teeth and the bases are wide for support.
